Awesome Overall Experience

We spent the night of 2/21/2015 to catch a very early flight out of Louisville KY the next morning. Since the weather was so bad, Crowne Plaza offered us the "distressed traveler" package - the room was comfortable and extremely clean, the food at their restaurant the Blue Horse was excellent - probably the best filet my husband and I have ever had. The chef walked around and asked everyone how their meal was. They shuttled us to the airport next morning at 4:30am and we were able to leave our car in the lot for the entire week while we were gone at NO cost. Upon arrival back in Louisville on 2/28/15 at 1:30am, their shuttle picked us up as soon as we called for them. What a great travel experience. We will stay with CP again and again. Thank you!.

Nice, convenient lodging

Overall, hotel stay was great, but first night in dining room was not good, It was a long wait (with few customers in restaurant) and cold food. The second night our reservations weren't logged in so it was another long wait, but third night was fine.

An oasis in the middle of winter!!

We don't travel much, but do always attend an annual collectors show at the Louisville EXPO Center. In fact, we've been doing it for over 10 years now! Many of our friends told us we couldn't go wrong with the Executive West on Phillips Lane, and right they were! Fantastic accommodations, family-friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere, close to the EXPO and airport, and the pool is to die for! Several years in, Crowne Plaza acquired Executive West and we noticed an immediate change. Employees were complaining, the quality of the food dropped, and cleanliness fell. Due to sickness, we couldn't make the trip in 2014. We had some anticipation on our way in last week, but all fears quickly dissolved! There were many familiar faces and some new ones too. All worked together extremely well. The place was immaculate from top to bottom! The food was back to our initial observations years before. And, we had 3 great night sleeps! We love it there and are VERY happy it has returned to the quality we once enjoyed year after year at Executive West!
