Dirty Hotel, Unattentive Staff

The check in process was VERY slow, which isn't that big of a deal but the condition of the hotel was disgusting. There was garbage and laundry piled up in all the hallways. The first picture below was taken at 10:30 at night, long after the housekeeping staff had cleaned the rooms for the day. After this picture was taken they added a rollaway bed to the pile, right next to dirty linens and bags of trash. By morning the rollaway bed was removed, I assume cause someone needed it (unknowingly they got the one right next to soiled linens and trash) but the pile of linens and trash were still there THE NEXT MORNING!! The fact that someone came and removed the bed but not the pile of unsightly trash amazes me. In the second picture you can see this wasn't the only pile of garbage hanging out in the hallways right outside guests doors. There were tears in the linens on my bed and the linens were so hard and "crunchy" feeling it felt like sleeping on sand paper. Will not be returning to the hotel and this is my 2nd bad stay at a Crown Plaza I might be done with Crown Plaza's all together.

Relaxing Atmosphere

This is the second time I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza. Both were for buisness meetings in the hotel itself. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and the staff are amazing. The rooms are comfortable as well, I would love to have the bed at my house. If anyone is looking to have a business meeting or training this is a great hotel to use. The restaraunt and lounge are very nice also. If I were going to Louisville for leisure I would absolutely use this hotel and bring my children. The pool looked clean and well maintained.

Great Service

After an awful experience at a neighboring hotel, the staff was a great in accommodating us during our stay. They provided us with a roll away bed initially. Ultimately, we were notified that a room more accommodating to the size of our party was available.

Great Room and Service

My daughter and I attended a volleyball tournament for the weekend. The hotel was full of girls. I was very happy that I was put on the first floor and I was near the lobby. I was a little concerned that the noise from the busy hotel would keep me up, but I did not hear a thing the entire visit. The restaurant staff was excellent as was the food served. I will definitely stay here again next year should we come back for the same tournament!!!
