Bad Experience

Dog show the week before I got there. Therefore, rooms smelled like dogs. Several complaints by the conference group that I was with. They did spray the room and it helped for a while but when you went in and out you smelled it again. Offered to move me but I assume most of the rooms had the same problem and I was in meetings all day and did not have time to move. Fixed coffee the first morning and little did I know the coffee pot was broke. The basket the coffee pack was in filled up with water and overflowed making a huge mess for me to have to clean up before going to conference sessions. Guy that checked me in was very nice but the lady I complained to was rude so another reason I didn't change rooms because I figured she was put me in the very back of the hotel. Was charged $10 extra a day for 2nd person in my room while others were not. Didn't seem really fair to me. Guess I should have stuck with a the usual hotel I always stay at. Certainly learned my lesson. The pool was very nice though. Best part of the stay.

Room and Dining


March 29, 2015


Room is small and dated. Noise from hall. No outside chairs for balcony. Wait staff in dining room argued and bickered openly with each other in front of guest.

nice beds but hotel could use a face lift

but don't eat the food--the breakfast buffet is terrible and ate in the bar 3 times as resturant was always books
Food was Very slow to come and not always hot
Had the shrimp and grits one nite and they were very good. Next night was nothing like the night before just bland and no cheese not good at all.

Excellent, but if you want feedback, I would allow the guest to write as little as they choose or not at all. I almost deleted the survey when I realized I had to type my review.
