Fantastic Hotel Property in Bora Bora
By SS2010
My wife and I stayed at IHG Le Moana for two nights as part of our honeymoon trip throughout New Zealand and French Polynesia. The hotel is in a prime location with fantastic beach and ocean view. [More] It takes about 10 minutes to cab from Vaitape wharf to the hotel and makes it convenient to check out the town if one desires so. For us, we spent the entire two days at the resort due to the constant thunderstorm at the time of our stay. Because of this, we were able to fully experience everything the hotel has to offer - we had every meal at the resort and tried lots of cocktails during the happy hour (buy one get one for free). The food quality are top-notch and priced attractively, despite it being a luxury resort in Bora Bora. The hotel truly impressed us in every way. [Less]
Beautiful property and excellent service.
By MarSam14
The hotel property is extremely beautiful and sits on the best location of Bora Bora in my opinion. The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and had everything you needed. The staff was very kind and [More] helpful. We plan on visiting Bora Bora again and will only stay at this hotel on our future visits. Great job! [Less]
Treated like never before
By Relaxing25
From the time I was greeted at the Airport by a member of the Hotel Staff, I felt I was a Honored Guest. The Staff made me feel comfortable and thought of my every need before I did. I know I will be [More] going back and will definitely stay at the InterContinental Le Moana Resort. [Less]

Best hotel experiences so far in my life
By SS2010
We stayed at the IHG Thalasso resort for a total of two nights for our honeymoon trip in New Zealand and French Polynesia. I have traveled frequently for both work and leisure and have stayed at [More] tons of hotel properties over the past few years. And I must say that the IHG Thalasso resort is the best hotel I have ever stayed! The conditions of the hotel rooms and facilities are top-notch in Bora Bora. We stayed at Emerald room and were able to dive into the beautiful lagoon directly from the room without the need of leaving the room and heading to public areas. There are 80 rooms in the resort, and based on my observation, each room offered superior privacy to its guests for their special occasions. Another highlight of the resort was the ray feeding at 2PM by the beach. Dozens of rays showed up when we went there, and the hotel staff provided guidance on how to properly interact with these lovely creatures without harming them. The two days we spent at Thalasso are the best part of our two-week-long honeymoon and we definitely look forward to coming back again to celebrate future anniversary. [Less]
Beautiful hotel, but still expensive
By 77JR77
The hotel, grounds, surrounding scenery, and staff are fantastic. 5/5 stars. The A/C was out during our stay, and while we were compensated for this outage, it made for a slight damper on a dream [More] vacation. My one main complaint is the Spa. This is supposed to be a selling point of the resort, but my wife and I left less than impressed. The deep sea pump was down (understandably so), but the spa still charged $700 for services received. The steam room, deep sea massage, deep sea soak tub were all down. The A/C was not working throughout the facilities, and we were offered a 15 minute head massage to "replace the parts of our package that were not available". When we expressed our desire that this did not adequately replace the items missing, the manager's response was "I am sorry. I cannot make water". Not exactly how we wanted to be treated at a premium spa/resort. Oh well. Live and learn. [Less]
