It's an IHG hotel. The location it's in isn't the most convenient. The entire hotel could use some TLC. The staff was nice. the room smelled odd and the shower water pressure was ridiculously weak. I would choose a different brand if staying in the area again although I am an IHG member.

Not the IHG experience we expected and are used to. This location falls under the IHG umbrella, but honestly, it couldn't have felt less like and IHG property. As one who reads reviews, I feel it important to state specifics about our experience.
This location seemed to be more a motel for worker residents. The public areas were always occupied by pairs or groups of men who 'lived' there. As a smoker, I visit the smoking area many times during my stay and the only area covered (it was a rainy weekend) was always occupied by groups of men who stayed for hours. The front is also designated smoking, and once or twice while not raining I did try to go there only to find both benches as occupied as the back. Additionally, the lobby and hallways tended to be hangout areas as well.
Our room itself was clean, but the dishes in the cabinet were not, and the kitchen and bath floors were not.
The water pressure on the 3rd floor is non existent, cannot speak to the other floors. Our toilet seat was broken.
The fully stocked kitchen is not stocked if you intend on anything but soup or microwave food. And bring things that don't need utensils to open. No bottle opener, can opener, scissors, etc. All you'll find is 2 each of fork, knife, tablespoon, plate, cereal bowl, cup, juice and water glass. One small saucepan, one med saucepan, and one ladle.
The lighting is not what you're used to in a hotel, which is normally too bright. This was adequate, but little else.
The staff is not engaged. Don't expect warm hellos or goodbyes. If you ask for something, they'll handle it, but not with a smile.
The location is not convenient if exiting the highway. You have to pass and make a U-turn on a very busy road. Same with leaving...if heading to highway, it's fine. It you want to shop or find a decent restaurant, you must head the opposite way and do a U-turn.
The construction beside the hotel and the heavy traffic and traffic noise, as well as the abundance of work vehicles in the parking lot, add tremendous weight to this feeling like you're staying in a commercial zone.
