Near a County Jail

Did my online check-in as per normal expecting a quick check-in process upon arrival. Had to provide my credit card even though it is on file with IHG, they took a $250 deposit in case I wrecked the room, partied to much, stole anything, had extra guests over or smoked in the room. Took a photocopy of my drivers license to confirm I was who I said I was. When I questioned why I was told that other hotels in the area were having these problems, later found out the hotel is located a few streets away from a county jail. My original booked through IHG, and confirmed, was given away when the construction company staying in this room decided to extend further - granted I was given a 25% discount (that was a plus). I did book the room for specific requirements and they couldn’t provide it after giving it away and only giving me a few days notice.

This hotel was super clean, very safe and the beds were comfortable. The trip was for Horse Expo. The pool area was great.

This hotel is in need of updating. It is not dirty but the rooms are very worn which is not ideal. The rear door (near the pool area) has a broken handle and once you step out you cannot get back in. This is unnerving at night especially because the light is also out and it is literally pitch black. That being said, the staff was amongst the best I have ever experienced when staying in a hotel. They were attentive, positive, courteous and always eager to assist in anyway. This in and of itself and a huge plus! The pool arear was great. Clean, always fresh towels and the kids had a great time.

I would recommend this hotel to friends but I would also recommend my friends asked the front desk if anyone has used there hotel room bathroom like some did my and if anyone had a dog in the room before them. My room still had dog food on the floor.

For the price, it was a good value. The hotel staff was personable and friendly. I wish the staff would have checked the room for overall cleanliness.

Room cleanliness...floors need improvement far as sweeping, mopping/ polishing kitchen floor and vacuuming;polishing cabinets other than room was good.

Location was safe, beds were comfy, Loved that the windows to the room opened and that they were pet friendly. Room smelled stale and of cigarettes, floor was grossly sticky, shower head and fixtures were very rusty. No fault of theirs but we didn't sleep bc the guests in next room were fighting (verbally and physically) loudly all night. Would stay again only if rooms were remodeled and floors and carpets professionally cleaned

This hotel was awful. The room was filthy. The floors were sticky. The mattress was filthy. The drawers wouldn’t stay pushed in. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was okay for a quick one night getaway. Staff wasn't immediate available, room was spacious. Has a full kitchen with refrigerator. Bathroom had long women's hair all over it even though I was there solo as a bald male.

The hotel is nice and did not smell. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed sleeps amazingly! Would have given this an excellent rating across the board if we had had hot water to shower. We are contractors and haven't had a shower in 3 days.
Cleanliness issues but Pam saved the day!

My first impression of the room was not very good and the cleanliness was unacceptable but when I let Pam at the front desk know about my issues, she immediately was able to move me into a clean room without issue. Pam saved the day by helping me move, otherwise, I would have changed hotels.

I've been in worse rooms but this was still bad. The floor was very sticky when we came in and the room did not look well cleaned. Whoever painted the room did a poor job and splatters made the room look dirty. There were a few flies in the room as we entered. When the AC cut off the room stunk. The bedding sheets / pillow cases had numerous stains and marks on them and the bed overall was very uncomfortable. One of the drawers would not stay closed and we needed to roll up some paper to wedge it closed. I understand reduced staff issues and changing of towels but this hotel required us to bring the towels to the front desk from across the other side of the hotel on another floor to get new ones, this is ridiculous, might as well pay me to be your staff then. Even though I was an IHG member and they had all my info I still had to manually fill in my info on a form, a small detail but poor customer service in the modern age.
