I travel with two larger dogs. It’s so nice to have them welcomed. Candlewood Suites is always a nice stay. I’ve never had a problem at any of the properties. I first discovered Candlewood when I had a terrible stay at another dog-friendly chain. So glad I did- it’s where we always stay now!

During a weekend trip with my wife, we opted for a stay at Candlewood Suites. Despite having just a few planned activities in town, our experience at the hotel was exceptional. The room surpassed our expectations, offering tranquility and cleanliness. An unexpected highlight was the breathtaking view of the Mississippi River visible from our window in the morning.
Our room boasted a range of amenities that left little to be desired. From the spacious bathroom to the inclusion of a dining room table, pull-out couch, and a reclining chair, it was an all-encompassing experience. The value for the price paid was remarkable, and I couldn't have asked for better accommodations.
If my travels bring me back to the La Crosse, WI area, Candlewood Suites will undoubtedly be among the top choices on my list.

Upon arrival my wife and I were kindly greeted by front desk staff. I had completed pre check-in through IHG rewards. They could not find our reservation at first. But quickly resolved the issue and got us our room.
The room had a faint unpleasant smell. But after opening the windows and running the air for a couple hours it was taken care of. For the price and location I would say this place is worth it.
