To participate in the ‘5X’ Promotion (the ‘Promotion’), an individual must have an active, valid IHG One Rewards member account and must register for the Promotion. A member who is already participating in the current ‘Up to 3X’ Promotion (with the ‘Up to 3X’ Promotion period being 1 October until 31 December 2025) will be automatically registered for the 5X Promotion. If a member has not yet registered for the current ‘Up to 3X’ Promotion and would like to participate in the 5X Promotion, they will need to register for the 5X Promotion on or before 2 December 2025. By registering for the 5X Promotion, a member will be automatically registered into the ‘Up to 3X’ Promotion for qualified stays booked after the 5X Promotion ends on 2 December 2025. A member can earn unlimited bonus points under the 5X Promotion for qualified stays booked during the booking period, 1 – 2 December 2025 for stays completed by 31 December 2025.

By registering for the 5X Promotion, a member accepts both these Terms and Conditions for the 5X Promotion and the Terms and Conditions for the Up to 3X Promotion, which can be found here.

Once registered for the 5X Promotion, a member will be able to earn 5X points on Qualifying Stays that are booked on 1 or 2 December 2025 for those nights of the stay occurring on or before 31 December 2025. For the purposes of this Promotion, a ‘Qualifying Stay’ is defined as a minimum one (1) night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with total spend exceeding $30 USD (or local currency equivalent) for each night. Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion are also not included. Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points + Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for the purposes of this Promotion. Bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Promotion. If more than one member who registered for the Promotion checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to earn points under the Promotion for those nights that qualify. If a member books more than one room on the same night, the member will receive credit towards this Promotion for only one of the rooms that also meets the requirements of a qualifying room night under the Promotion. For the 5X Promotion, earning ‘5X’ or ‘5X points’ on stays before 31 December 2025 that were booked on either 1 or 2 December 2025 means the member will receive five (5) times the ‘base points’ the member would normally receive just for being an IHG One Rewards member. For example, under the 5X Promotion, for a one-night qualifying stay at a rate of $100.00 USD, the member would earn 1,000 base points (10 points per USD x $100 = 1,000 points) and an additional 4,000 promotional bonus points, for a total of 5,000 points. The promotional bonus points under this Promotion are calculated based solely on the base points the member is eligible to earn for a qualifying stay just for being an IHG One Rewards member, and any Elite status bonus points or any other bonus or promotional points the member may be eligible to receive for the same stay are not included. Stays that were booked before 1 December 2025 or after 2 December 2025 by members registered within the Up to 3X and 5X Promotions are not eligible for the 5X Promotion and such stays, if Qualifying Stays under the Up to 3X Promotion, will adhere to the Up to 3X Promotion earning structure, found within the Up to 3X Terms & Conditions.

A member’s participation in the IHG One Rewards programme and this Promotion is subject to the standard IHG One Rewards membership terms and conditions, which can be obtained here or by visiting ihgonerewards.com. IHG One Rewards benefits are generally available at all IHG® Hotels & Resorts and other partner hotels participating in the programme, with exceptions for the following brands:

Six Senses® Hotels Resorts Spas: IHG One Rewards Points may be earned or redeemed for stays but other benefits may not be available. (Note: some hotels do not participate in IHG One Rewards.)

Iberostar Beachfront Resorts: Members can now earn and redeem IHG One Rewards Points for Reward Nights at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts. (The portfolio of Iberostar Beachfront Resorts excludes any interests in Cuba.)

IHG may withdraw points from a member’s account if they were deposited into the member’s account in error, and may revoke all points in a member’s account if the member abuses the IHG One Rewards programme, including but not limited to abuse of the point redemption process. IHG expressly reserves the right to remove a member’s points, downgrade their status or cancel their account if fraudulent activity in connection with the Promotion is detected, and any fraudulent or other prohibited activity relating to a member’s account, this Promotion, restricted rate offerings or the IHG One Rewards programme is subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, including any of the identified actions that may be taken in response to such activity. To the extent permitted by applicable law, IHG’s interpretation of the scope and application of the Promotion and these Terms and Conditions will control, and IHG also reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion. This Promotion is valid only for those who are eligible to participate and who registered for the Promotion, and such eligibility or participation cannot be transferred or conveyed.
