It is a strategic alliance, backed by a long-term commercial agreement, where Iberostar Beachfront Resorts becomes an Exclusive Partner of IHG Hotels & Resorts, with the Iberostar Beachfront Resorts brand becoming the 18th brand within IHG's portfolio.

The Iberostar Horizons loyalty program has ended. Members who were a part of the Horizons program can join the IHG Hotels & Resorts loyalty program – IHG One Rewards – to enjoy special recognition, exclusive benefits, and earn points for stays. Horizons members will still be able to log in to their Horizons private area on Iberostar’s website to view their stay history.

The guest should add their IHG One Rewards member number to the reservation during check-in, so they can earn IHG One Rewards points and receive benefits for all Qualifying Stays.

At this time, members will only be able to find Iberostar Beachfront Resorts reservations through the Iberostar channels, e.g., Iberostar website or by contacting the Iberostar Contact Center.

Members will need to contact the Iberostar Contact Center or the hotel to add or request any preferences.

Members can find the latest list of participating properties here. It will also be specified on the webpage of the selected property if it is a part of IHG One Rewards.

Yes, members will earn points for Qualifying Stays at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts.

Ten (10) Points for each U.S. dollar or local currency equivalent paid toward Eligible Charges on your individual hotel room bill, when members pay Qualifying Rates.

Iberostar The Club is a separate paid program for selected amenities and discounts. The IHG One Rewards Club member is the entry-level tier for all new members. There is no connection between the two programs.

Iberostar The Club is separate from IHG One Rewards. If a guest books The Iberostar Club rate and they are an IHG One Rewards member, they will not earn points for the room rate as the rate is Non-Qualifying, however they will earn points for any ancillary spend. Note: the guest will not receive any IHG One Rewards benefits.

No, members staying at all participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts will earn 10 points per $1 USD for all Qualifying Stays.

No, those transactions will not apply to earning points since it doesn’t involve an overnight stay.

No. IHG Business Rewards is specifically designed for Events, Social Occasions, Weddings, etc.; however, this program is not currently integrated at Iberostar Beachfront Resorts.

Members can earn points and enjoy on-property benefits at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts. Members will be able to redeem their points for Reward Nights at a later date.

Yes, IHG One Rewards on-property benefits apply to a member’s stay at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts. Note: the reservation must be made direct through IHG’s websites (including mobile sites), the IHG One Rewards app, IHG WeChat mini program, IHG Customer Care, Iberostar website, Iberostar Contact Center, IberostarPro, or directly with an Iberostar Beachfront Resorts hotel. Reward Night Discounts, Confirmable Suite Upgrades and Food & Beverage Rewards will be available in the future. Visit the IHG One Rewards terms & conditions for more details.

With the exception of the Annual Lounge Membership, members must book their stay direct through IHG’s websites (including mobile sites), the IHG One Rewards app, IHG WeChat mini program, IHG Customer Care, Iberostar website, Iberostar Contact Center, IberostarPro, or directly with an Iberostar Beachfront Reports hotel to receive their program benefits.

Members who have the IHG One Rewards Annual Lounge Membership will have access to a lounge or Star Prestige facility (where available), excluding Star Prestige guest rooms, at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts.

Yes, members may invite one guest into the Lounge/Star Prestige area. Note: the guest must be a registered guest at the hotel.

The complimentary one level room upgrade excludes residences as well as 2 bedroom or greater suites/villas.

Yes, upon check-in at a participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts Platinum and Diamond Elite members will be offered the choice of IHG One Rewards points or a Hotel Credit as their Welcome Amenity.

No, the Welcome Amenity varies by brand and region so there are differences in the point values issued. At Iberostar Beachfront Resorts Platinum Elite members have a choice of $15 Hotel Credit or 600 points and Diamond Elite receive a choice of $20 Hotel Credit or 600 points.

Yes, the member-exclusive rate is applicable at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts.  Make sure members are logged in to their IHG One Rewards account to view and book the IHG One Rewards Member Rate at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts.

At this time, IHG One Rewards members cannot use their points or any Free Night Certificates to book stays at Iberostar Beachfront Resorts properties. This member benefit will be available at a date in the future. In the meantime, members can use their points to book Reward Nights at all other applicable IHG brands. The member will need to contact Iberostar Contact Center and provide their stay details.

Only if the reservation date is after the program launches on June 28, 2023, then yes, the member will earn points and receive benefits if the booking was made through an IHG or Iberostar direct channel.
