Founded in 1707, the Old Summer Palace is a large imperial garden in China, located in Haidian District, Beijing.It is composed of the Old Summer Palace and its adjacent gardens changchun Garden and Qichun Garden (later renamed Wanchun Garden).It is also known as the Three Yuanming Gardens and the Garden of Ten thousand Gardens.The Qing Emperor would come here every summer to spend the summer and listen to government affairs, so it is also called "Summer Palace".
