Explore Copenhagen

The surrounding area is one of the modern parts of Copenhagen, called Orestad. It is famous for its magnificent architecture, and we have Nature Park Amager in our backyard.

Must See

Freetown Christiania is only 15 minutes' drive from Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, but it's a world away from conventional city life. This commune became a global symbol of counterculture in the 1970s and remains a beacon for artists and intellectuals. The uniquely designed Copenhagen Opera House, just a short walk from the freetown, stands in stark contrast.

What's New

Royal Arena, Copenhagen's new multi-purpose and concert hall, is located directly across the street from the hotel. So if you are going to one of the many concerts or events in Copenhagen, Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers is the place to stay. Also in the neighbourhood is The Royal Golf Club, which was designed by one of the world's leading golf course architects and is open to guests all year.

Tips

Go shopping: Next door to the hotel, you have Scandinavia's largest shopping mall, Field's. If that is not enough, hop on the Metro and be in the city centre within 10 minutes. Explore Ørestad: The hotel is surrounded by Copenhagen's new neighbourhood. Discover spectacular architecture and design, as well as Nature Park Amager, one of Europe's largest nature reserves near a capital city.

Must Do

Tivoli Gardens is more than a world-famous theme park. Michelin-starred restaurants, epoch-defining architecture and a year-round program of concerts offer ample alternatives to nerve-shredding rides at Tivoli Gardens. It is conveniently located near the Town Hall Square, the main shopping street Strøget, and the Central Station, and is only a 10-minute train ride away from the hotel.

Don't Go Home Without

Doing what the locals do - experiencing Copenhagen on two wheels. Copenhagen is synonymous with the City Bike, which is easily rented and takes you to the sights in no time. Also try the traditional Danish lunch: Smorrebrod with herring, pork liver pate, cheese and sundry other Nordic specialties are liberally piled on sliced rye bread and washed down with local beer and Danish schnapps.
