Must See

The Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport location North of Dublin City gives you a head start in visiting the ancient passage tombs at Newgrange and Knowth. These pre-historic monuments pre-date the Pyramids of Giza and attract thousands of visitors daily. We are also just 7km from Glasnevin Cemetery Museum, which offers vibrant tours showcasing Ireland's social and political history and heritage.

What's New

Beyond the Trees Avondale is a newly opened attraction (June 2022) in County Wicklow, south of Dublin. It offers a wooden tree top walk with breathtaking views of the natural Irish landscape, in addition to a spectacular 38 metre high spiral viewing tower. Perhaps best of all, the walk is fully wheelchair and pram accessible making it an attractive day out for everyone.

Tips

Buy a Leap Card, it's cheaper than cash and can be used on the bus, train and Luas tram network across Dublin. If it is your first time here, book a Hop-on-Hop off bus tour, or experience the amphibious Viking Splash Tour! Dress in layers! It can be warmer during the day but get very cool at night. Make sure to reserve your tickets in advance for popular attractions, as they can sell out fast.

Must Do

The Guinness Storehouse, just 20 minutes' drive from the hotel, showcases the history of this iconic dark beer through interactive displays over seven floors. The venue's centrepiece is a large glass atrium in the shape of a giant pint glass. There are tastings on offer in the top floor Gravity Bar, which offers panoramic views across Dublin through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Don't Go Home Without

Experiencing Ireland's unique food and drink! Alongside Guinness, taste some locally brewed Craft Beers in a pub or a cup of tea in a café. Start the day with a full Irish Breakfast (make sure to try the brown soda bread and black pudding!) and then grab a chicken fillet roll for lunch from the deli counter in a local supermarket. For snacks, Tayto or Keoghs crisps (potato chips) are a must-try!
