The Playhouse

The Playhouse is Fredericton's performance venue. the 709 soft seat theatre is the place to catch live performances by regional, national and international musicians, dance companies and theatre companies. The Playhouse was given to the people of New Brunswick in 1964by the publishing baron Lord Beaverbrook. the award-winning venue is a favorite stop for national touring artists and also serves as a venue for local professional and amateur productions.

Officer's Square Skating Rink

The new Officers’ Square Rink is opening just in time for the holidays! Officers' Square Skating Rink has access to a heated shelter to keep visitors warm while tying or untying their skates. A plastic apparatus will be available at Officers’ Square for people learning to skate. Rink attendants will also be available at peak hours to help people learn to skate. The hours of operation will be from 9 am to 8:30 pm.
