Science East Science Centre now features a beautiful new hands-on and interactive exhibition exploring Earth before we existed. This beautiful exhibition includes activities about oceans, earthquakes, mining and minerals and tiny microbes and features a Winogradsky Column, a huge living ecosystem of interacting bacteria that existed 1 billion years ago!

The Playhouse

The Playhouse is Fredericton's performance venue. the 709 soft seat theatre is the place to catch live performances by regional, national and international musicians, dance companies and theatre companies. The Playhouse was given to the people of New Brunswick in 1964by the publishing baron Lord Beaverbrook. the award-winning venue is a favorite stop for national touring artists and also serves as a venue for local professional and amateur productions.
