Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Watch the AC and expect a slow dinner If your room gets hot with the AC on it is because the unit is icing over and needs freon. Get a new room if this happens. The food in the hotel is a bit expensive but the service in the bar at night for dinner is very slow. July 31, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Needs update and redesign Poor internet, horrible food, lousy pool/spa/hot-tub. Smells old and it is poorly designed. A/C was not working right, and you could feel the cords under the carpet when you walked on it as A/C must have been an after thought. 2 thumbs down! July 31, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Caution when complaining about poor service I recently stayed at this hotel and can say I'm shocked at how some of the staff conducted themselves. I complained about poor service during the breakfast hours and the response of the manager was, "thank you for your feedback". Once that happened I gave breakfast one more try then I just gave up and left the hotel for breakfast. I figured I would be Ok for lunch. Oh was I wrong.. Never in all the stays at several different hotel chains have I had a staff retaliate. Well it finally happened at the Holiday Inn Stapleton. When I tried to order roomservice, it appeared someone would pick up and then hang up. So I go to the lobby and ask who is taking the roomservice calls, and its the same person who I had complained about. Needless to say I stopped eating at the hotel entirely. Probably the worse part is that several managers are aware of what occurred. One offered to comp a meal. Are you serious? What happened in no way should have been brushed aside. I personally know Holiday Inn can do better. July 30, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Accommodating Staff I arrived at noon (the check-in time is at 4 pm). I had been up for nearly eighteen hours and they were able to find me a room (not the room that I had reserved...for that I would have needed to wait another hour...but, a comfortable room, which at that moment was the more pressing issue). The breakfast buffet is adequate and reasonably priced (although, I didn't eat it the second day that I was there). What struck me most about this hotel is how friendly and accommodating ALL of the staff were. And an added bonus, it is close to lots of shopping. July 28, 2015
