Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Knowing support of hotel-wide loud partying see previous notes...entire hotel for the 3 nights we stayed was booked with a large number of roller derby folks....they would start loud partying in many rooms with travel back and forth/shouting/door slamming/etc. from after dinner to 4 or 5 am. Other relatives stayed on other floors and experienced the same thing. On third night it was exceptionally bad in our area and we'd had it. I called the desk at 3 am and was assured it would be dealt with. There is no way the staff did not know this was going on for these 3 was even occurring in the elevators and common areas. There was no airport shuttle service as we were told the shuttle was reserved for the derby folks. No real help in securing alternate transportation was made. In retrospect, we should have just called 911. Won't stay with you again. May 29, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff but lacked in other areas I don't even know where to begin. I'll start with the fact that most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, and it's a big however, we had multiple problems. I had a group of Girl Scouts who we were taking for a girls fun day out and overnight at the hotel. I talked to a Sales Director who was very helpful in reserving us a Family Suite and a regular room to accommodate us all. The Family Suite has a king bed, foldout sofa and bunk beds. When we got to our room, no bunk beds. I went to lobby to find out why we didn't have a bunk bed. Apparently, whoever had the Family Suite before we got there, extended their stay and the hotel moved us to a regular suite without contacting us. Now we did not have enough beds. They offered to bring in roll-aways. They did work with us to obtain rooms to accommodate us all, but our room should have never been given away. Also, a basketball tournament was in town and some teams were staying at the hotel. That was not a problem. But, the nonworking elevators were a problem. There was a lot of people at the hotel and everyone was trying to get up the elevators at the same time. Wait time was sometimes over 15 minutes. Sometimes we used the stairs but we were on the 6th floor so that was a bit hard. One of our Girl Scout leaders and some of the girls were actually stuck on the elevator at one point. Luckily there was a staff person on the elevator and they had a radio. It was hit or miss with the elevators and a little nerve racking wondering if we'd get stuck. Also, the room the pool was in was so hard to sit in because the chlorine was so strong. Our eyes were burning and we had to keep going outside to get some fresh air. What topped it all was the breakfast. While the kids were free (thank goodness#, the adults were $10 for the buffet. It was nothing more than a free continental at most hotels. They had some hot items and you made your own waffles. I couldn't eat the eggs because they had sat there for so long they were hard. There was no milk for the cereal, there was no more bread or muffins left and the line was so long for waffles that I basically ate an English muffin for $10. And I had to ask a waitress to toast it and bring it to me after asking for them to bring out bread twice and they never did. We had to have some of our girls go to the lobby to get water because there were no drinks left at the buffet.The floor by the buffet was so sticky my flip flops almost came off when I tried to walk. I was told they got bombarded with people from the basketball tournament and didn't have enough staff. I'm sorry but this is why this hotel was built, to accommodate large groups of people for sports and Coliseum events. Also, had they looked at their sign in the lobby welcoming the basketball teams, they would know to staff up. I will say this, the staff was very friendly and helpful #with exception of one young man working the buffet). They were willing to make accommodations for us with the room mess up after we told them how unhappy we were. One girl left a nice pair of shoes in the room as we were checking out so we went back to the room to find them which had already been cleaned. They had taken the shoes out and put them in a bag with our room # on them and taken them to the front desk. This should be standard practice at hotels but most of the time items disappear. We scheduled an ice cream social for the girls ahead of time in one of their board rooms which was great. The rooms were nice and clean. Not sure I would go back based on the elevator problem, food and not knowing if we'd have the room we reserved. May 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, Friendly, Comfortable The location across from the Coliseum is great. It is very close to several restaurants as well. We walked to the Coliseum which was not too safe due to the busy traffic and lack of a pedestrian crossing. We could have used the shuttle a couple of times but we didn't bother calling and waiting. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable. The buffet price seemed high so we went out to dinner. May 19, 2015
