Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded expectations I traveled extensively prior to retirement last summer and stayed at Holiday Inns throughout Asia and the Pacific Rim. As such I was quite familiar with the Holiday Inn brand. This was my first use of IHG Reward Points and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to book hotels and what I believe to be reasonable use of points. The hotel met or exceeded expectations in all aspects. I also appreciated the upgrade to a suite, which was well appointed and outfitted. The staff were all very attentive and helpful. For our purposes this hotel was also situated in a good location, providing easy access to major thoroughfares that allowed us to efficiently travel to the down town Phoenix area and to several suburbs. It is also relatively close to I17 which worked well for a day trip we made to Sedona. I would highly recommend this hotel. April 14, 2016

If you need anything they are willing to help you. The food is good and the staff in the diner are very nice and friendly as well. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nosedive This location used to be a great place to stay, but it seems they have decided to go in another direction. They have now contracted to provide support to a local cancer treatment center, which means now only 20% of the rooms are available to the general public. They also seem to have made some staffing changes. When I arrived there were two male desk clerks working, each trying to outdo the other in ignoring me. They were so busy typing on their computers they did not have time to stop and acknowledge my presence. The whole registration process was awkward because the guy did not know what part of the registration form I should complete, he did not ask how many room keys I needed, and he seemed confused when I asked if my room was on the top floor as stated in my preferences. I was also surprised that he never asked for a credit card or ID. He did acknowledge that I was an IHG member but it was obvious that he did not care, he only recited the words because he was required to. I recommend this hotel only because of its great location for travelers on I-10. March 25, 2016
