Chatfield Reservoir

Chatfield Reservoir is one of Denver's several fishing hotspots and is located off of the southwest corner of I-470. The Colorado Division of Wildlife maintains an active fisheries management program on Chatfield Reservoir. It boasts healthy populations of rainbow trout, walleye, smallmouth and largemouth bass, channel catfish, crappies, yellow perch, sunfish and carp. State fishing licenses are required as well as a park pass to gain entry.
