Stayed here for four nights so we can attend a concert and the fireworks competition.
The reception was polite, courteous and thorough. The executive room was standard and the quality of lounge services was average. The room at first felt damp, however with the AC left on, it seemed to improve in time. The hotel had undergone renovation, however, my room did not look new.
Overall, we did enjoy our stay! The location is great, just a short walk to the shuttle buses at Starworld, Wynn, MGM and Lisboa. We would DEFINITELY stay here again, but would not pay the extra money for an executive room.

First impression of the hotel was a little dated. But the front desk staff were great! Warm and friendly. Would be great if there was a hotel shuttle direct to the Zhuhai border. Had to take the hotel shuttle to the ferry terminal to change to another hotel shuttle bus.
Otherwise great location. Within walking distance to where we wanted to go to.
Small request. Will the hotel consider having English Premier League games on TV?

The property is in good location for walk, see and shop.
Room is a usual Holiday Inn room. In this stay, the closet was too small to hang clothes A week ago I also stayed there and the room was perfect.
This time some people was smoking in the executive lounge on the 28th floor. Staff was not saying anything. I am not sure if smoking is permitted in Macau IHG.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jerome7 Fantastic and friendly hotel
My second stay at Holiday Inn Macau, for some vacation time after a one week business trip in Hong Kong. I arrived at the ferry terminal on a Saturday night, and seeing 100+ people lining up for taxis, I headed over to the shuttle bus area. Would be nice if the hotel could put up a sign at the place where the shuttle bus pulls up to, otherwise us customers have no idea where to wait. The bus was easy to spot though, and whisked me straight to the hotel. Ms. Moon at the check in desk welcomed me with a big smile and excellent English. She immediately recognized me as a Platinum Elite member, and I was kindly upgraded to an executive level room on the 27th floor.
The main restaurant on the 1st floor seemed to be closed for renovation, but no worries - turn right out of the hotel and you have a 7-11 after one block. Turn left out of the hotel and there is an excellent little fruit shop also after one block. Great Chinese restaurants with English menus all around the area too. Room service is also available, and some Chinese restaurants in the hotel operated by third parties.
The room was a good size, very new and clean furnishings, and housekeeping came not only for morning cleaning, but again in early evening for changing towels and preparing the room for night. I had some great sleeps after full days of fun in Macau!
Overall, this hotel is small, personal and friendly. All the staff, whether front desk, lobby, housekeeping, Oskars bar staff, they all go out of their way to make you feel at home. I have stayed at some of the "flashy" hotels in Macau, but I always feel I get "lost" there as a customer, and I greatly value the more personal and friendly service at this hotel.
I will definitely return to the Holiday Inn Macau when I come to Macau on future visits.
