Room, Lobby and the common areas were clean, staff was courteous and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good and the bar had plenty of drinks. The premises was clean and there was ample parking spaces and light in the parking lot. The property is well located for my business needs.

The fittings in the rooms were damaged and tired, The problems were sorted out by the end of the evening. The bar is not well stocked and looks very sterile and impersonal. The ran out of specific bottled beer very quickly and had no draft beer

Fun with no sun

It was raining the entire day we spent in Richardson however the indoor pool offered my kids a ton of fun. The water was a great temp and the pool was super clean. As a family we have decided that if we are ever in the area again that pool will make us stop for the night. Everything was really great at this hotel except the food. The dinner menu had very few choices and once I settled for something on the menu (the steak) it came out dry and tough with very little flavor. I discussed with my wife sending it back but it was late and we all had had a long day. Then we went down for breakfast and all they had was an omlet station and some bananas and apples. Which did the trick but I really would rather had French toast. But over all I believe if your in the area this hotel will blow your mind away, just bring your own food or eat before you check in.

There are lots of restaurants nearby and the Dart train stops right on the other side of the freeway. Only problem we had was that only one elevator was working. In a six floor hotel you may have to wait a long time for one elevator.

Unfortunate customer service

I stayed over the long Memorial Day weekend recently. The hotel appears to be brand new and access was convenient. Check in was uneventful, the front desk clerk was not particularly friendly but he got us in quickly. The room was nice and clean, the beds were great. We were pleased with everything until the last day, which is the only time we experienced their customer service. I got two drinks in their restaurant/bar area and paid cash. I remember every detail because I waited 10 minutes to order a beer and gin and tonic, and for the bartender to go to the front desk to get change for the $20 I paid with, which seemed very strange to me at the time. The other bartender/waitress was engrossed in her conversation with her boyfriend, so the delay was really annoying. But I tipped her $2 anyway. We were there for about 30 mins and then went up. Then later that night, I came back down to print out my boarding pass. The desk clerk simply pointed in the direction when I asked for the location of the business center. Didn't say anything, just pointed. I looked in the direction, went over and tried a couple of doors, when I hear him tsk from across the lobby and point again more strenuously in the other direction. So I redirected myself and located the computer and printed my boarding passes. The next day we were greeted with a bill for food and drinks which we did not order. The same front desk guy from the night before says we can come down to take a look at the signed bill. On our way out, approx 10 mins later, we stop at the front and I review the bill. It had several drinks and several entrees, and someone attempted to forge my signature. The bill was at about the same time I was there that evening having a drink. So whomever perpetrated this theft, had my personal information of my room number and my name. The front desk clerk asked for my name and number so the manager could contact me about the bill. I got a call 2 full days later from the manager, although he never gave me his name, that he has at least one thief working for him and possibly several. He gave a very insincere apology and said the charge would be removed. I found the whole situation very troubling and hope that the management is taking appropriate steps. I can provide descriptions of all the individuals that seemed to be involved, including the boyfriend, who I believe was also an employee at the hotel.
