Sammons Golf Course is an 18 hole championship course conveniently located off I-35 in Temple, Texas. First opened in 1922, the golf course has seen many changes and improvements over the years, yet has always been a centerpiece of the community. Recently renovated, Sammons has new Emerald Bermuda grass greens and a re-routed golf course that returns both nines to the clubhouse.

The Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum is housed in Temple’s historic Santa Fe Depot. The permanent exhibits explore working and traveling on the railroad with an emphasis on the Santa Fe Railway. The museum also hosts a range of changing temporary exhibits, as well as education programs, and special events.
