Our stay was very nice. The halls were a little noisy at night, but overall a really comfortable stay.

I was very disappointed in this hotel overall few things were what I expect of HIE. Check in was good very friendly and fast but all down hill after that. The mattresses need to be replaced they are very worn out and uncomfortable. I slept only about 3 hours because of the discomfort. At 11pm we called to report the room above us sounded like they were jumping on the floor for over 30 minutes. They said they would take care of it. After midnight the noise continued and so we called the desk again. The person acted like they couldn't be bothered and said "I guess I'll go up there again." I know you can't control the guests but I expect a more helpful response. When we checked out in the morning I forgot to leave the keys in the room and was just dropping them off at the desk. The clerk was on the phone and would not even make eye contact with me to acknowledge that I handed her the keys. Very disappointed, we will not stay at this location again. We actually moved across the street for an additional night.

Well managed and convenient to the major highways, this hotel is good for business travelers. The included breakfast was better than average and the dining area was clean. I enjoyed the complimentary evening wine and cheese break. Lobby seating was comfortable with quiet nooks for private conversations.

There were no towels at the pool the day we went swimming ( a Mon. morning).
The food served at the buffet breakfast is somewhat tasteless, especially the cheese omelets, although there is plenty to eat and the staff is extremely courteous and friendly.
Overall, an excellent hotel and improved from previous stays at this particular hotel.

In checking my credit card when I returned home the pending charge was $20 above my receipt. I called the hotel and got a very snippy, disinterested party on the line. She told me the charge was normal procedure in case I had damaged the room. The room had already surely been cleaned as it was more than 24 hours since checkout. I continued to ask for a more satisfactory answer and the clerk HUNG UP ON ME. I will probably never stay in any Holiday Inn Express again after this experience. Totally unacceptable. When my charge finally posted on my credit card it was the same number as recorded on my receipt. Not only was the clerk on the phone rude but as we were checking out the clerk behind the desk took a telephone call and made a reservation for someone else before she took our key and cleared our account. As I've already said, I WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS or any other for that matter.
Location was also represented as being near the airport. Not so.
