The State Fair of Texas is an annual state fair held in Dallas at historic Fair Park. The fair has taken place every year since 1886 except for varying periods during World War I and World War II. Fair includes Midway rides, Football games with Red River Rivalry and new State Fair Showdown; Food galore with specialty Fried Foods, Wine Garden, Fletcher Corny dog, cotton candy, Texas Choice Awards; Automobile Show, Exhibits, Livestock, Concerts daily, and U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle performance.
