I have been staying in this hotel for about 3 years for business. I have seen the hotel go down in quality since I first started staying here. If you must stay here request a room on the west end of the property, all the high school kids hang out near the east end. Mud is routinely tracked into this hotel and a lot of oil field workers stay here.
On a good note, the breakfast is what you would expect and the bed comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for a nights stay while traveling but that's about as far as I'd go.

being able to sleep without road noise is paramount. I had a room away from the front and slept very well. The breakfast variety was good, but the scrambled eggs were watery and had a sweet, peculiar taste. My wife could not eat them. The workout room needs some weights - a rack of dumbbells would be the standard nowadays and there was no resistance equipment. The staff were excellent! I felt the room was quite overpriced, though. Property is in good condition and the room was spacious.

The hotel was really nice. Pool was good. Breakfast was very good. We did ask for more towels and did not get any more. But for the most part it was a short stay.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Good facility for a person with disability
I wound up in a king-sized room for a person with a disability. I do not have one, but it was the last room. However, I was impressed with the spaciousness and layout of the room and bathroom. I think there were more bars in the tub and surrounding area than I have ever seen. These would be very helpful for someone trying to get in and out of the tub. The phone in the bathroom was also a good touch for a disabled person who might need additional assistance.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dogger68 Personable staff, room very clean and attractive
We stayed two days while attending the D-McNabb horse sale and thoroughly enjoy our stay. The room was clean and very organized. We enjoyed the No-smoking and no pets policy of IHG. The breakfast was outstanding. The only negative was the price which we felt was a little excessive, but we do understand the reason for the charge. I would highly recommend staying there to anyone. We do expect to return next year or sooner. Thank you Holiday Inn Express.

I checked in at 4:30 with out any other greeting I was told one of the two rooms I had reserved was not ready this is 1 1/2 hours after your stated check in. The reason given was that the hotel was full?. I asked to be upgraded to a room that was ready, again I get the hotel is full. The only person working the full hotel desk left to see if the room was ready then, while I waited and waited. When she finally returns I am told that it is almost done, so the check in proceeds, I have to ask for my 500 check in points! Over all for the price you charge ( which is $20 to $50 more than other Holiday in the region, it seems that you could afford more people working at your hotel, and train them better. I will always drive past Douglas in the future and stay in Casper!
