Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Smoky room Overall this property is good--up to the usual standards of the brand. However our room had clearly been 'mitigated' from a prior occupant smoking in the room and the 'mitigation' failed miserably. The room was also not as clean as we expect. The location is also not ideal with only a few feet between the property and the back of a large discount store which provided our only view--awful considering how lovely the local scenery can be. Poor choice of location all around. July 7, 2014

Only problem was a smell of some kind in the front door area. No big problem just used a little perfume. Would recommend to others. Near all the stores and restaurants. July 2, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Place, other random thoughts Decided to look at this review from two different viewpoints, first in general comparison to other similar options and then as a Rewards Club member. The hotel is still pretty new and very nice. Good location right off I-15 and in the same parking lot a Buffalo Wild Wings. Behind the hotel is a strip mall with Target, Macy's, and lots of other shopping and eating options (though, you may not even realize they are there). We had two rooms, a King suite and double queens. Both were clean and spacious. Only the suite had a microwave and fridge. Bathrooms were well stocked and clean, good water pressure, plenty of hot water. Toilet was a law flush, sometimes had to flush it twice. Pool is small, but just fine in size, hot tub is big. Lots of towels available at the pool. Good workout room, actually a little bigger than most hotels of this type. Breakfast bar is standard HIE fare, nothing extra. In all a fine hotel and worth the money. Now, compared to other HIE, they treat their Rewards Club members with indifference. Now, this is likely petty on my part, but the Rewards Club experience has always been one of the special things about this chain. Whether it is a wine/cheese tasting in Wenatchee, WA or Cour de Lane, ID, Getting cookies at night in Anaheim, CA and Minneapolis, they just don't do anything to make the Rewards Club members feel special. Had to ask for bottled water (Not offered) then in the afternoon of our second day, after six waters (two rooms, four people in party), we were told that we had reached our limit. Heck they didn't even acknowledge we were even Rewards Club members even though our reservation had a star and my points on it. So, yes, I am being a petty snot here, sorry. The hotel is solid and clean, great location, and worth the money. June 30, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Room was not clean I have stayed at many Holiday Inns and this room was not clean. I even cleaned the rust ring out of the toilet. Nothing was dusted and the beds were not made well each day. I said something to the housekeeper when we left but only heard the excuse that it was hard to keep up with dust. Also the breakfast ran out of food and even coffee. I believe there needs to be better oversight. Sorry that I cannot say things were good. June 26, 2014
