Located in the historic downtown district, this museum gives the history of the life and times of noted author/poet, scholar, and librarian Arna Wendell Bontemps. It offers African American Memorabilia, pamphlets, books, and artifacts.

Located in downtown Pineville, along the banks of the Red River, and includes a visitor’s center with Civil War artifacts, an elevated boardwalk around both forts, and an overlook of Bailey’s Dam.

Housed in a replica of a World War II Barracks, The Louisiana Maneuvers and Military Museum gives tribute to the soldiers and civilians of the Louisiana Maneuvers. Located at Camp Beauregard, the Louisiana Maneuvers and Military Museum is home to exhibits featuring Manueuvers era arms, uniforms and equipment, as well as an extensive collection of artifacts from Colonial Louisiana to Desert Storm.
