Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not a good location The hotel was not too close to downtown, it look similar time to get to downtown as the Holiday Inn by airport. The area around the hotel has nothing to offer. Have to drive to go any where from the hotel. July 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by very bad we came in and our room was not ready. we checked in and they gave us a key for room was not cleaned up at all and there was a bag mess inside and it was occupied and bags inside so we stepped out right away and went to talk to the front desk about this extreme bad customer service we recived so that was unbelievable at all. then they just said they forgot to clean it up so we gave us a key for another room and when we opened the room door same thing was a big mess and it wasn't cleaned up and there were baggage inside the room which means there were people inside and that is very ridicules for a hotel like this to have the worse customer service I seen in my life. they do not know which rooms are available and what are not which are cleaned up and what are not it was just a joke that as they are just guessing and just handle us random keys to go up and try it out it was very embarrassing and they were not doing the right thing. then I went back to the front desk and explained the situation of the second room which was not different than the first one. and same response they did not know that people were inside. then we could not take it especially I m with my family and asked the employee to talk to the manager and he said there is no manager available and there is no body available but him even there is no housekeeping he just wanted to close the front desk for few minutes and he will clean another room himself which is not acceptable at all I am platinum member and the hotel this . so what they will do with the all guest????????? Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded expectations My husband and I were looking for a comfortable, affordable, mid-range hotel in a very specific area while visiting family. We didn't use a lot of the hotel's features, but the room was everything we needed. It was larger than expected, with a slightly separated sitting area. The king bed and pillows were super comfortable, with bedside tables and lamps on both sides of the bed. The A/C cooled the room down quickly and had a constant fan setting (much easier to sleep if the fan isn't going off and on all night!). I liked the arrangement of the room. There was lots of storage space and no furniture bottlenecks. I appreciate having a sink/vanity area separate from the toilet and tub room, and having a separate switch for the bathroom fan. It's surprising how hard it is to find hotel rooms these days with all of these very simple design features. The wi-fi was fast and reliable. My only complaint was that the password was changed on the 2nd night of our stay with no warning, leaving me wondering if something had gone wrong with my phone and unsure if I should call the front desk in the middle of the night. Guests should be warned at check-in that the password changes once a week. The free breakfast was a notch above what I was expecting, including eggs and breakfast meats. The breakfast room could have been better arranged (people were bumping into each other trying to navigate the serving area), but other than that it was great. July 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very comfortable bed great service Nice people would stay again great location close to everything Room was clean we stayed ina a 2 room suite and it was wonderful!!!!! Quiet and affordable. Staff was just enough friendly to be efficient but not bothersome. Maids were the best. Pool was a lot of fun, plenty of towels and not overly crowded. July 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jantzen Beach Holiday Inn Express Super clean lobby, breakfast area, and rooms. Very nice staff, especially the lady from New Zealand, who works in the breakfast room. Close to the city of Portland, Oregon by car. So many positives to this visit, other than a weird burnt smell in our room due to a previous occupant burning popcorn in the microwave. Staff worked hard to fix this problem, with some success, although the smell still lingered. We chose not to move to another room (which was offered to us). Many amenities that we did not even get a chance to use. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start our day sightseeing, and it was wonderful to come back to such comfortable mattresses and pillows. July 23, 2015
