Explore Warsaw

Don't Go Home Without

Visit the Warsaw Rising Museum. Just a few steps from the hotel, this interactive museum is a tribute by Warsaw’s residents to those who fought and died for an independent Poland and its free capital. The permanent exhibition depicts fighting and everyday life during the Rising in 1944. Visitors are guided through the subsequent stages of the Rising until the time when the Insurgents left Warsaw.

Must See

Just around the corner from the Hotel, Norblin Factory is a must see site in Warsaw’s Wola district. The area, a pearl of post-industrial architecture, is now a popular part of the city with restaurants, cafes, Food Town, an eco market, offices, a boutique cinema and an open-air museum.

Must Do

Visit the Praga district and its trendy restaurants, bars and clubs. Start your visit to Praga by going to the Praga Museum of Warsaw, where you can learn about the history of the district. Find the shrines hidden in backyards and view original murals. Spend time in the historic Skaryszewski Park or at the zoo. Finish by visiting Saska Kępa, a neighbourhood full of modernist architecture.

Local Tips

Poland does not use the euro. The national currency is zloty (PLN), so we recommend you exchange some money before arrival. Summer will be the best time to visit Warsaw, while during the winter season, you better pack warm clothes as temperatures fall below zero. When eating in a local restaurant, it is a nice touch to leave 10-15% tip; the service charge is usually not included in the bill.
