Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Slightly below average for IHG/HIE The hotel itself was, overall, average and OK. I would stay there again, but I would also say that it is below average for HIE. The main issue was the more-than-usual run-down state of the hotel. Issues like; * There is a faded/bleach stain on the carpet in the hallway. * The handle on the tub was rather "floppy" and made it tricky to get the temperature just the way I like. * The elevator doors were painted without being taped off, and you can see a lot of over-paint when the doors are closing. This said, the room and hotel itself was above-average clean, which is why I am giving this review a generally positive review. When I checked in, I asked for an additional conditioner because I have quite long hair. The lady was busy and kindly offered to bring a spare up to my room "in a few minutes". She never came up, so I went back down a while later to pick it up. She informed me then that there were no additional conditioners left. I found that exceptionally odd, but there you go. To her credit, she found a bottle a little later and called me to come down to get it. So that much I do appreciate. January 20, 2016
