I was pleasantly surprised by the awaiting staff's engaging personality at my late check-in, the quality and attention at breakfast and nice vibe the place had. Recommend. April 23, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location for patients at Wake Forest Univ Baptist medical center I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express, 110 Miller Street, Winston Salem, NC. Everything was good, except at check-in, I had difficulty getting the keyless card to open my room. I asked one of the housekeeping maids that was in the hallway if she worked there and could she help me. She was not nice and told me that she didn't work there and could not help me. I left my belongings at the door and went to the person at the front desk, who tried herself and still couldn't get the door opened. Finally, security came along and got me in my room. Otherwise, the stay was good. I did think it was a little pricey, even though I received a discount. April 15, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast! I really enjoyed the location of this motel. The staff were very nice and helpful. Everything was great! The only thing I can think that needs handled is the carpet in the guest room. It could use a thorough cleaning. Otherwise, great stay and the remainder of the room and bathroom were very clean.
