The bathroom, the toilet paper had human feces on it I was discussed/uncomfortable the whole time after that.
So many diseases out there no excuse for this to ever happen.
I wanted to leave but no hotel had availability

We had to move to a different room late at night because the ceiling was leaking in the shower. The room they moved us into had a broken shower curtain rod. Staff did not seem to understand the request to mail a letter for me. Bed was not comfortable. Staff was vacuuming outside our room at 5:30am.
Great stop going North or South

We are snowbirds who travel North to South in the fall and South to North in the Spring! We happened upon this property a number of years ago and its become our "go to" destination while in Norfolk! We like the proximity to the Harbor Tunnel Bridge to the Eastern Shore and the safe and secure feeling while at the facility. The staff is wonderful and we apreciate the efforts put forward by their efforts! Look forward to returning on our way back to Fort Myers, Florida! Thanks! Steve & Mary

Booked a room for the weekend for my daughter travel sport a double queen. Checked into a room which was completely unsanitary, (photos as well). I was told the room should have been cleaned and they don’t know what happen. I was told they were completely sold out and the front desk person had to call a manager and had my family waiting in the lobby for close to an hour. Was provided a one bed room for myself and 3 other family member’s. That room was out of service, floor damp and the this bed also had stains on it as well, no clean linen. I attempted Friday through Monday to speak with someone from management and was continuously told they would be in the next day from 11-4, I called each day during those times and they were not in. I informed them that i needed to speak to someone asap as the stay was not what we booked and the lake of proper sleeping arrangements cause pain and re activated my husband back injury who is a veteran. I requested a refund due to the lack of respect, not being accommodated in any way along with not being able to speak with the manager to get this issue resolved. This booking was with a travel sport team and our team blocked off 25 rooms months in advance. Lastly on Sunday around 7:30 someone entered our room with a keycard while we were in the bed. I went to the front desk yet again and the front desk seemed not to care and completely showed not desire to figure it out.

The room was very nice and comfortable. I loved the AC to make the room cold. The bed was softer than I am used to. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We loved this property! The pool area/hot tub was expansive with a nice sound system that filtered great music in as we swam. The room was spacious and modern."

the Holiday Inn Chesapeake and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. I am in a holiday inn express an average of 3 days a week for work. This is the only one that the oatmeal is cooked all the way. I complimented the lady working breakfast and asked her name. She said it was Sandy/Sandra and that she gets to work early and puts it on first, good job Sandy😁
Bad Hotel and Staff

We checked in for a 2 night stay and from the check in to check out we had nothing but issues. We were not greeted upon check in. The room A/C would only cool to around 70. There was no clock or microwave in the room and the freezer part of the refrigerator did not work. The weekend staff then were using filthy language (F-ing this and that) in the kitchen area and eating area. I confronted them and told them in front of other guests that their language was inappropriate and they needed to stop. All this was brought of to 3 staff at the check in counter but nothing was said or done about it.

The room itself was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds that ensured a good night's sleep. I appreciated the variety of pillows available, which always makes a difference for a restful stay. The bathroom was well-maintained and stocked with all the essentials.
One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. There was a good selection of items, from pancakes and omelets to yogurt and fresh fruit. It was a great way to start my day before heading out.
The location is convenient too, with easy access to nearby restaurants and shopping. It’s in a nice neighborhood, which added to the overall experience.
