Very poor management

No one speaks English! Maids could not understand the simplistic of things needed. Management did nothing. Manger yell on the phone at me when they saw I removed some luggage in our room to our truck that we would not get a refund for checking out early. I said not checking out early. No apologies, just excuses maids do not speak English. Management also parks out front preventing customers from unloading easily or loading easier. When brought to their attention they say the do not want the cars in the hot sun. What about the comfort of your paying customers? Again defencivenes.

The desk clerk was extremely rude. When I asked him why my credit card was charged for the room before I even registered, he told me it was to hold the room. When I told him no other Holiday Inn Express had ever done that in the 15 years I have been staying at Hoilday Inns, he told me he was going to cancel my reservation. He needs to go!

We stayed at this hotel during our one-night visit to Santa Fe from 6/27/25 to 6/28/25, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional—from the warm front desk service to the quality of the room and the complimentary breakfast.

Check-in was quick and seamless, which we really appreciated after arriving late. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a restful night.

One of the things we always look for in a hotel is a complimentary breakfast, and this one did not disappoint. There were plenty of options, even for our picky eaters!

They offered a great variety including yogurt, an oatmeal bar with several toppings, scrambled and boiled eggs, two breakfast meats (bacon and turkey sausage patties), healthy and kid-friendly cereal options, white and chocolate milk, a waffle station, fresh fruit, and of course, coffee. The breakfast exceeded our expectations—we all loved it.

I also used the gym before we checked out. It was a decent size, equipped with an elliptical, treadmill, bike, a wide range of dumbbells with a bench, an exercise ball, and a yoga mat. While two of the machines were out of order and the sanitizing wipes needed refilling, I was still able to get a solid workout in. The clean towels were a nice touch.

Overall, we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly rebook if we’re ever back in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at this motel. The property is clean, well maintained and has up to date amenities. The staff is professional and attentive. I would highly recommend staying at this motel.

Truly enjoyed our stay. Staff were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Great location, walking distance to Meow Wolf and other attractions. We slept well, breakfast caged each day a bit so got different choices.

I have never heard a day manager at any hotel property use BOTH the "S" word and the "F" word when addressing me!

Stayed here with some buddies for a few nights and had a great time. The staff was fantastic. We had morning chats with Artero, who was very nice and had great recommendations for the area. The property was well maintained and housekeeping was excellent. I highly recommend.

Excellent food, great rooms, super clean. I have stayed all over the world thousands of hotels, this one was excellent. I really liked it. Rooms was clean, pool was great, gym was small, but very useful. The breakfast was excellent, very fresh, tons of choices, and the coffee was really good.

Toilet Problems

Had to switch rooms due plumbing problems. As I understand it, five rooms were affected. Also, this was the third time for this to happen at this hotel. I had two rooms, both were affected. No discount or comp was given for the inconvenience.
