InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort
A perfect day in Cancun starts with a wonderful breakfast Mexican style: eggs, chilaquiles, tortillas, frijoles and coffee. Afterwards, it's time to enjoy the beach. An ocean front palapa -a palm thatched umbrella- will be waiting for you so you can relax and enjoy the Caribbean sun from morning to sunset along with a refreshing Michelada, a mix of beer and lime juice. Enjoy all kinds of water sport activities and why not rent the sailing boat anchored at the beach for a memorable sailing experience on the Caribbean Sea? It will be time for a relaxing massage to regain your energy and enjoy the rest of the day.
A 10-minute taxi ride down the coast from the resort is Luxury Avenue, a high-end mall with world class designer brands. In the same area, you can explore La Isla Shopping Village, a complex with restaurants, bars and movie theaters, plus an interactive aquarium that provides a wonderful opportunity to swim with dolphins. For a truly unforgettable experience, you can end the afternoon with a helicopter ride that lets you view our resort and the exquisite colors of the sea from above.
Cancun is renowned for its nightlife, and there is plenty of it to discover within walking distance of the resort. Our European Plan allows you to eat outside the hotel at an amazing range of international dining destinations, without the restraints of an all-inclusive set up. After dinner, you can find the heart of Cancun entertainment at the iconic Coco Bongos, where incredible shows, flying acrobats and dancing until very late make for an unforgettable nocturnal experience.
Cancun is located in the state of Quintana Roo, on the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. It is divided into two areas: Hotel Zone, between the lagoon and the sea, and downtown Cancun.
Modern Mexican cuisine is the result of the fusion of two cultures: Pre-Hispanic and Spanish. The Xtabentum is the traditional drink served in Cancun and is a liqueur made in Yucatan, from rum, aniseed and honey produced by bees from the nectar of Xtabentun flowers.
Moving around Cancun
