Recently Paul finished his bachelor’s degree in event planning from Kendall College at National Louis University to further his growth and to complete a degree he started years before. Emily is a seasoned event and hospitality professional with a strong track record in planning and executing high-profile events, including weddings, conferences, and fundraisers. Emily brings over eight years of combined experience in event coordination, hospitality management, marketing, and guest services.

Andrew Court

Executive Chef Andrew Court has over 40 years of experience in the culinary world. His career began in his native Birmingham, England, and his thirst for knowledge has sent him all over the world, from Germany to Madeira, Bermuda to Antigua, across Canada, East and West Coasts of the USA and Mexico, until landing in Chicago in 2022 here at the InterContinental Hotel.

His menus expertly adapt to the needs of each individual couple, with a focus on sustainability, fresh ingredients, and innovation running consistently through everything.

A trained beekeeper, Chef has helped tend to the beehives at his properties in Toronto and San Francisco, and believes in giving back to the industry by being on the Board of Directors for North Shore Culinary School which provides nonprofit culinary and life skills for disadvantaged youth and adults.

Citing his favorite George Bernard Shaw quote, “there is no love sincerer than the love of food,” Chef feels very grateful to have a career that fulfills multiple aspects of his lifelong culinary passion.
