Things to do
The Perfect Day

Morning

Start your day with a visit to San Miguel, the only town on the island, 20 minutes by car from the hotel. You may have a nice walk arround downtown where you can get a little token for family and friends. You may find fine jewerly, silver, handcrafts and a variety of unique Mexican souvenirs. Enjoy a Mexican cup of coffee while you watch the view of Cruises, and Island life.

Afternoon

The spectacular coral reefs surrounding Cozumel offer some of the world's best diving and snorkeling, and the hotel's five-star PADI Scuba Du dive center can help you discover them. The Shallow Reef Adventure is suitable for guests with little or no snorkeling experience, while the center's instructors and dive masters can organize boat excursions for certified scuba divers. When you return from your trip, enjoy a revitalizing treatment in The Spa, or indulge in a massage in an oceanside hut.

Evening

Enjoy a rum cocktail and glorious sunset views in the hotel's Le Cap Beach Club bar while deciding where to dine. Le Cap serves Mediterranean-inspired creations and seafood grilled or cooked in a wood-fired oven. El Caribeño's menu offers delicious Mexican and international dishes, and Alfredo Di Roma Trattoria serves gourmet classic Italian cuisine. Private dining can also be provided, with a six-course menu especially created by our chef, paired with premium wines selected by our sommelier.

Did You Know?
  • Mayans

The Mayans considered Cozumel sacred to Ixchel, the Mayan moon goddess, and the island was a place of pilgrimage, particularly for women in search of fertility. At the sites of ancient temples, archaeologists often uncover the small dolls that were once offered in sacrifice as part of the fertility rituals.

  • Private Transportation

Please contact us to gladly assist you with private transportation service.

  • Sea Turtles

Cozumel Island is known for the best diving in the western hemisphere. What many do not know is Cozumel is also a major nesting ground for the loggerhead and the hawksbill sea turtles. These amazing creatures nest primarily on the south side of the island. If you are on the island between May and October, you can witness this amazing experience as you walk through the beaches accompanied by a biologist, while experiencing the behavior of the marine turtle first hand. Every year, thousands of sea turtles arrive on Cozumel's eastern coast in order to lay their eggs. A sanctuary is in operation to protect the nests of this endangered species. The island also has one of the world's most beautiful coral reefs.

  • Safety

Cozumel is a very safe place. You can walk around late at night without worrying about your security.
