Then in the Afternoon ...

The Haight is a gateway into one of our civic treasures, Golden Gate Park. Here you will find the Botanical Gardens, the Conservatory of Flowers, the California Academy of Sciences, Blue Heron Lake, the De Young Museum, the Japanese Tea Gardens, random pianos available to play a tune on, and a herd of buffalo. Finally, During the Evening ...

San Francisco has 12 distinct neighborhoods, each with its own distinct feel and culture. Some of these vibrant areas are just a short walk from our hotel. Journey to the upscale Union Square neighborhood, our major restaurant, theater, and shopping district. From there, it's just a few blocks to Chinatown, with any number of restaurants, bakeries, and tea and souvenir shops. The other side of Chinatown will bring you to our Italian neighborhood, North Beach. The area was made famous by the Beatniks, such as Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac, but remains popular for its numerous Italian restaurants, saloons, and waterholes where you will hear live music spilling out into the streets. Top off the evening with a visit to our own Bar 888, where our certified mixologists make drinks as varied as lemon drop martinis, classic old-fashioned, and an array of enticing mocktails.
