Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Hotel and Staff!! Everything was great. The staff was helpful to all of our needs the entire stay. Very clean! Great Breakfast Bar! A bit pricey but get it with your room rate and it is cheaper and well worth it! The only thing I would change is for the Pool to be warmer. It was still a little cool for us to be indoors. Parking on the ground level is for smaller cars, use the upper parking if you have a larger vehicle. We will definitely stay here again! 15 November 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Open your window! The hotel is an average hotel. Paking in basement is tight but convenient . Street access is tough with traffic. Stores and restuaraunts are close. The first night the heat didn't work and I didn't realize it until I got up and the temp was 65 when the thermostat was set on 69. I forgot to ask that the heat be checked. The second night I got in late and the room was hot. It was 77 and the temp was set on 69. The heat was still on full blast. When maintenance came they told me the heat was operating as designed and if 77 degrees was too hot that they would open my 9th floor window for me or I could open myself! The front desk aplogized but did not offer any other solutions and had no other rooms. 10 November 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Denver Cherry Creek I always stay at the Cherry Creek when in Denver. the updated rooms are very nice. The staff is efficeint and friendly. I especially like the location on Colorado Blvd, easy access and commute to where I want to go. The breakfast in the AM is exceptional but can be a bit pricey. The drive down to the lower park level is a bit intimidating but it works although the elevator access is a bit confusing. Overall-a fine place to stay which is why I keep coming back when my wife and I visit Denver. 24 October 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel - Terrible Parking The hotel itself was great. We stayed there when we were in Denver for a family wedding. We did not eat at the hotel, so I can't rate the food, we did frequent the bar and Robert, the bartender was outstanding. The only negative thing about the whole stay was the parking. The parking garage's front entrance is a tricky entrance and while we were there, they were getting ready to resurface the lot so they had things blocked off at odd times of the day. The parking spots in the garage are also difficult to pull in and out of - they are trying to cram too many cars in a small space cut up by lots of pillars. Other than the parking, I'd recommend this property. 23 October 2013

The breakfast was a step up from the breakfasts that are generally included in the rate. This was also a convenient location for us. As a frequent traveler who doesn't normally stay at Holiday Inn, I was amazed at the room quality and the comfort of the bed. I slept well every night! I especially loved having options to relax, such as pillow options and multiple comforters and blankets. Unlike most hotels that give you just one chair to rest in, this Holiday Inn had a sectional seating arrangement, an ergonomic chair, and a bench. This came in handy when co-workers needed to use my room to brainstorm...we were able have enough space to arrange seating in a format perfect for communication. The Wi-Fi worked great; happy hour specials didn't break the bank, and my bartender, Robert, was always on top of things. Though there was some construction taking place, this didn't ruin my stay. I liked the organic nature of the lobby, and felt comfortable at all points of time. Staff were happy to assist me in getting a cab each day (even pleasantly calling my room when my cab came early). There was only one thing that I did not enjoy, and that was that the front desk was not able to look up my rewards club number. I found this to be uncommon compared to other hotels. Therefore they did not honor my status. Other than that, I'd be happy to return to the Holiday Inn Cherry Creek any day! 22 October 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 5 miles from Downtown but excellent Hotel is in Cherry Creek suburb of Denver. Close to Cherry creek Mall with a free shuttle bus to the mall. Downtown Denver requires a taxi ride ($18). Outside the $51 airport flat rate but taxis both ways accepted the flt rate fee. Hotel nice with comfortable room and small bathroom. We got breakfast included in rate which was very good value as it was a good buffet breakfast with an omelette/egg station cooking to order. We also had an evening meal was was basic but very pleasant and good value. There is a pool which was closed for renovation and a fitness centre. 17 October 2013

I travel to Denver quite often for work, and I keep coming back to this one... My only request to the hotel management is to start carrying a more local selection of beer / whiskey at the hotel bar. I've asked a few times about whether or not they have Stranahan's whiskey - which is locally distilled just about 5 miles north of them off I-25. It would be fantastic if they started having that available. 15 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Greatly impressed with this hotel As this was the first of four Holiday Inns we would be staying at during our vacation, I was glad to see the quality of this hotel and even more so - the room were excellent. The room looks very modern. The furniture and lighting in the room look very sharp. The bed was very comfortable, and I am happy the Holiday Inn has made it a standard across all of their hotels to provide Firm and Soft pillows on all the beds. In short, the room was awesome. You can find pictures of the nice furniture I am talking about on this hotel's website. For the rest of the hotel: - The pool was closed for renovation - which was fine since it was only about 40 degrees outside while we were there. - The bar area is nice. Drinks were pretty good and reasonably priced. ($7 or $8 for a martini). Bartender was also friendly and nice. - We did not partake in the $12.99 buffet hot breakfast, but we did get some Starbucks coffees and a breakfast burrito from the little cafe they have. - I think this was one of the hotels where our parking was free. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean hotel with great bartender This hotel was conveniently located in the Cherry Creek area. The bartender was extremely nice and accommodating. The front desk staff was not very knowledgable about the area but was otherwise helfpul. The breakfast buffet was not anything to write home about but if carbs and coffee are what you expect, the food here will do the job. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool was out of service but there was plenty of free parking in a covered garage. 09 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Denver meeting Enjoyed 3 nights for a training meeting @ this hotel. Was given an impressive free upgrade (2 room, 1.5 bath suite) which was much nicer than any ordinary room. Manager's Wed. night reception was very nice with complimentary drinks and snacks. The pool was being rebuilt which made entering the well-equipped exercise room challenging. The breakfast room was crowded, and hot foods including scrambled eggs and oatmeal were not always hot. This is acceptable for a free breakfast but not worth the extra $12.00 charge. 29 September 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent place to stay My husband & I have been staying at this hotel for approx 2 years after our son moved to Denver. Love this hotel. The rooms and the views are awesome. The beds are soooo comfortable. My husband & I enjoy going downstairs to the patio, sitting in front of the fire, early morning or late evening. It's such a nice comforting area to enjoy a late night cocktail. (Unfortunately their bar discontinued carrying Bailey's). I enjoy a Bailey's & coffee, what bar doesn't carry Bailey's or at least something comparable? Other than this one small inconvenience, great place to stay. The housekeeping are always pleasant and do a good job.. Don't forget to tip, they work hard. If you want to wake up fully rested, this is the place to stay! 26 September 2013

The beds are probably the most comfortable ones I've ever been in... Bar area is a decent place... with a fairly good selection. It was a nice place to sit and watch the football game on Monday / Thursday nights... Overall, it's a great hotel. 25 September 2013

When I mentioned that, the rep was happy to check and found that DU had some affiliation with the Holiday Inn- Cherry Creek, and so she offered me a discounted price.
