To avoid long queues to breakfast was given an alternative place for it due to my rewards status.. That's the way to go. Once again I was very happy to stay in Kensington Forum, dined in the brasserie for the first time, service was polite and friendly, food was ok as well. 11 February 2013

It was nice to have the little extras in the bathroom (unlike Stratford) though disappointing that there was still no packet of biscults unlike the old days. Only problem was the dining room failed to deal with the numbers at breakfast - items run out on the self service - no tea immediately available and though it did not affect my party, a long queue to enter the dining room when we left despite numerous empty tables. 10 February 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by General All Round Helpfulness First we booked 6 rooms, then another, and then we had to cancel one and then reinstate it. No matter, the reservations desk kept up with our protracted dealings and sorted it out. They were very helpful and as good as their word. We also used the Concierge on this visit. Henrique booked a coach for us and billed the room. We tried separately 4 different coach companies none of whom returned our email. Thank you Holiday Inn and thank you Henrique for your attention to detail and general all round helpfulness. One small minor point, in a family room when the fold away bed is down it is quite tight for an adult to move around. 08 February 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worth it for the view We arrived very early in the morning and so our room was not ready so we left our luggage and went off to explore the city. Wehn we arrived back the room was ready and as requested we were givena quiet room on a high floor. The view from the 26th floor was worth the stay alone. I was a little disappointed that as a Priority Club member we were not offered the option to upgrade our room and no mention was made of breakfast or dinner. The room itself whilst not the largest was extremely comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. I would certainly stay here again especially if I could get a room with a similar view. 07 February 2013

Situated in Kensington, 100 yards from Gloucester Road Tube station with its direct access to 3 lines, the Holiday Inn Forum hotel has become a home away from home on my frequent business trips to London. The staff are courteous and friendly, and the concierges in addition to providing valuable local knowedge, have on more than one occassion obliged with emergency charging of my SmartPhone, or provided the back-up toothbrush and razor in time of need. The hotel facillities are excellent, with a great bar that just hums on football nights and and a separate dining area for a quieter meal. As a Platinum Priority Club member, upgades to Executive rooms are normally available, and on my visit this week, I was touched to receive a handwritten card from Nathan, together with a bowl of fruit. I would highly recomend the hotel to the Business traveller, and it is also a great location for a weekend in London. David R. 06 February 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Small bedrooms but fair service Stayed here a few times now on business as I couldn't get into my normal choice of hotels. I am an ICH Platinum/Royal Ambassador card holder as I am a loyal ICH customer. My ICH status was recognized upon check-in, but unfortunately there was no option for a room upgrade, which is ok as it is a big and very busy hotel. Needless to say the check-in rep promised to send up the normal Platinum/Ambassador goodies such as water. They never arrived. In addition the lady also said that she had put me in a quiet room with a lovely view of the London eye (16th floor). As it turned out the room was by the service elevator/room (so very noisy late at night and early mornings). The windows were so dirty I couldn't see for 50 metre's let alone the London eye 4 miles away. Needless to say, after a chat with the Duty manager (Kailas) the next evening he sent up water, promised a new room (which i declined as i was tired) and a drink from the bar. i dint need a drink but Kailas asked me to send him an email to explain the issues. I received an email today from Kailas and he has promised to add 10,000 points to my ICH account. So my advice, this hotel is good value in general. But if you are a loyal ICH card member please don't expect too much as it is a big hotel and very popular so not always is a room upgrade available. You also do not have instant access ti the executive lounge as you need to book into an executive room for this. Basically your Platinum/Ambassador status holds no value at all. You will also need to pay for Internet access. As a loyal ICH customer, in my experience if you do have any issues always try to have a chat with the duty managers (Lailas in this case and Jamie before) as they are very customer orientated and listen to you. 05 February 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad, for London Given that this is in the West End and is handy for Olympia and Earl's Court, it represents reasonable value for money - in London terms. Room is a good size (again, for London), comfortable firm bed and the usual choice of pillow firmness options. The restaurant is huge - even so, the breakfast food was fresh and plentiful. Decent gym, but obviously would struggle if there were a lot of people wanting to use it. Overall this place is just Holiday Inn upsized to a very large scale - I expect that those above the 15th floor and with a room facing the right direction would have a great view over the city. 04 February 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful London weekend I hadn't stayed in this hotel before and was a little sceptical. However I need not have been as everything worked out perfectly. I was only there for the weekend and arriving midday Satuday does not give you much time but the hotel staff wee most accomodating allowing my party to store their backs without checking in to enable us to start enjoying ther weekend immediately . Judging by the numbers taking breakfast on Sunday the hotel was very full but it never seemed that way. Would I stay here again - of course. I am now planning to use it for my base when attending meetings in London 02 February 2013

Room functional but corridors very much like school dorms . Beds comfortable . Found staff moody in main bar at night which lacked friendliness and any atmosphere . All reception area good. The staff are friendly and helpful (not all make good eye contact, though: the receptionists can sometimes speak to you at length all the while looking at a computer screen). Knowledgeable concierges. There is a reasonably good choice of TV channels in the rooms, but the wifi is extortionate. The room service is fine. Food is good, and well presented. Very useful baggage-drop facility. 26 January 2013

The location was brilliant, as we were going to the Royal Albert Hall. Access to public transport was also very good. A Briiliant and reasonable location to explore London from. 25 January 2013

It is most convenient for transport in London being 5 minutes from Gloucester Road tube station. The hotel staff are welcoming and helpful. The food is good and reasonably priced for central London. A great location due to being nearby to Gloucester Rd tube station (200m), museums and Royal Albert Hall. The staff are friendly and welcoming especially when you're a regular! The bar can be full at times as the hotel is frequented by a lot of airline staff on overnight stays but this shouldn't put people off using this hotel. There are a lot of good restaurants in the local area if you don't want to use the hotel bar or restaurant. I thoroughly recommend the hotel and will be using it during the summer for a weekend break in London. 23 January 2013

Price competitive This time Front desk check in disappointing . One person who seemed disinterested. Asked same unnecessary question twice .Clearly did not care if regular customer ( Priority Gold ) or if had already on line booking . Room clean but not stocked or restocked e.g no replacement regular coffee sachets some days and no milk containers on check in . WiFi price out of line . made me go round the corner to use internet cafe. Why not offer free or discount as as perk for regular customers ? 20 January 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable bed but good location I have stayed at this hotel several times before as its location for us is perfect. You can drive straight there, its a short walk to the Tube and Albert Hall etc. However this time, the bed we had was to say the least, very uncomfortable!......I think there must have been a trampolene competition held there the night before as there was absolutely no spring in the bed, so much so that I kept rolling into the center of the crazy is that!.....i'm off to the see the Chiropractor now! Holiday Inn, please upgrade your matresses or at least check them before allowing the room to be re-used. 19 January 2013

This was our last stop before heading back to New Zealand and chose the hotel for its proximity to the tube station, we were very happy with the location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff very helpful and organised adjoining rooms for us. We didn't eat at the hotel. There are several excellent restaurants and pubs nearby. 18 January 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Impressive views We were lucky enough to stay on the 17th floor which had an amazing view over Hyde Park into central London. The room was clean and had everything we needed. There were only 2 flaws - the first being the breakfast. WHen we checked in we were offered a reduced price for the breakfast buffet of £12.50 each. However, when we went down to the breakfast room the following morning we found a queue that, according to other guests, meant a 45 minute wait. We went to reception to ask for the cost of the vouchers to be removed from our bill as we were not using them and were told they were non- refundable. Fortunately the understanding staff member did accept that it was not reasonable to queue for that length of time - especially when there are lots of great breakfast venues very close to the hotel. The second gripe was with the lifts. For the size of hotel and number of floors the lifts were not efficient - taking up to 10 minutes to arrive when called. Rooms are very cold even when the heating is set to 27. Breakfast is quite good. The food in the tavern, I would give a miss especially the steak and ale. Just heated in the microwave so very disappointing. 16 January 2013

The rooms are comfortable and the beds are as good as any you will find. The food service is very good but overpriced. We have stayed here several times and will do so again! 16 January 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room Experience We spent two nights there. The first day the elevator was being maintained so we had to use the stairs. The second night we had not hot water. We called maintenance to fix it. They thought they had. They hadn't. We called them again. They never responded. I think your rates are entirely too high for this sort of service. 16 January 2013
