Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value hotel A nice hotel and a good price for a central London stay. we stayed on the 12th floor, a nice view over London, the room was comfortable with soft and firm pillows, standard, clean shower facilities. Comfortable bed and a duvet, not just sheets! A good range of tv channels, tea.coffee. I used the gym which was simple, basic, clean, but enough for my requirements. Very friendly staff. A nice hotel overall which I would stay at again, and the price was reasonable. 21 February 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stay away if you are a loyal Holiday Inn customer, they don't want you The loyalty program is one of the key selling points of Holiday Inn and IHG hotels in general. The hotels like to advertise the size and the reach of the Priority Club program. Unfortunately this hotel doesn't care about your loyalty. The manager of the hotel is clearly out to penny pinch you to death. First, the daily prices are pretty steep. Second, even as a Platinum Priority Club member you are going to be treated like a bum: they'll charge you 28 GBP for internet & tv, make you pay for breakfast. Lastly, the customer service is going to treat with a level of contempt which is abominable even by British standards. The lady at the Priority Club check in counter placed me on the 4 floor of a 20 story hotel and sneered at me when I asked for a different room. Mind you, it wasn't an issue of availability -- looking at the hotel at the evening it was obvious that it is less than a third full. In short, stay away from this one. They don't want your business. 21 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful London Experience This was our second visit to this Hotel and as on our previous stay we found everything to an exceptional standard. Lovely Staff - from housemaids upwards, thank you all for making this visit so memorable See you in the Summer| 20 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday inn Kensington Forum Gloucester Road, LONDON Love this Hotel. Great International feel. The location the perfect. I am a regular visitor to London and this has got the X-FACTOR. Met many famous people and more importantly frieldly people. THE STAFF MAKE THIS PLACE, THEY REMEMBER YOUR NAME AND ALWAYS GREET YOU WITH A SMILE. WILLING TO PLEASE EVERY TIME. FULL MARKS ALL ROUND! 20 February 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by To Cold On arriving we were greeted the girl in reception was pleasant. We got in the room which was unpleasantly freezing cold we sat in our body warmers keeping warm the radiator was not working the air con was as much good we found a electric oil radiator but only warmed you if you sat right next to it.The only way to get warm was get a bath and clear off out. When we got in the foyer the heat was overwhelming in my words transfer some of the heat up stairs to room 916 that will do the trick 18 February 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by pillows to die for room was very clean and had a confortable sitting area. The most comfortable pillows you could wish for. 15 February 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 You get what you pay for This hotel is cheap for London and perfectly adequate but not great. Everything meets your needs but nothing excels. Rooms are big enough, bed comfortable enough, just enough milk for your tea, and the food is edible but nothing special. On the plus side the staff are good, price is good, location is good. On the down side, no drinking water in the rooms, stiff towels, busy breakfast, fairly expensive restaurants (for the qualty of food provided) and no information of what nor where the hotel facilities are (you have to wonder around until youfind them). I would recommend this hotel is you want somewhere good value to put your head down. 15 February 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap but dated, very busy but good location I stay here every week on business. I find that the rooms are ok but quite dated. The carpets are often a bit worn and not amazingly clean and in the last 3 weeks alone I've made a number of calls to reception and maintenance to fix broken showers, move rooms due to being opposite a loud generator room. Also the hotel has a habit of putting me in a twin room when I've booked a double which is a pain. The hotel is often full despite being pretty big and I find it quite hectic. You could say its more tourist than business. Some good points are that the hotel is just 2 mins from Gloucester rd tube and is in what is seemingly a nice part of London. It's near Hyde park, Kensington and the museums. I stay here because its cheap for holiday inn in London, but I'd prefer to stay at another holiday inn. I'll keep coming back but I don't love this place much. 14 February 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Great warm welcome by Chelo and Erika, Goos value for money on food and drinks (quality of bread with lots of room for improvement) 14 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice stay once again The platinum status was well noted. Nice room, can't complain. To avoid long queues to breakfast was given an alternative place for it due to my rewards status.. That's the way to go. Once again I was very happy to stay in Kensington Forum, dined in the brasserie for the first time, service was polite and friendly, food was ok as well. 11 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great location Great Staff Glad we picked here , great Location , easy to get about close to attractions. Staff simply excellent , nothing to much trouble AAAA+++++ 10 February 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Problems with Breakfast Good stay with room comfortable (super view) and excellent reception service. It was nice to have the little extras in the bathroom (unlike Stratford) though disappointing that there was still no packet of biscults unlike the old days. Only problem was the dining room failed to deal with the numbers at breakfast - items run out on the self service - no tea immediately available and though it did not affect my party, a long queue to enter the dining room when we left despite numerous empty tables. 10 February 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by General All Round Helpfulness First we booked 6 rooms, then another, and then we had to cancel one and then reinstate it. No matter, the reservations desk kept up with our protracted dealings and sorted it out. They were very helpful and as good as their word. We also used the Concierge on this visit. Henrique booked a coach for us and billed the room. We tried separately 4 different coach companies none of whom returned our email. Thank you Holiday Inn and thank you Henrique for your attention to detail and general all round helpfulness. One small minor point, in a family room when the fold away bed is down it is quite tight for an adult to move around. 08 February 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worth it for the view We arrived very early in the morning and so our room was not ready so we left our luggage and went off to explore the city. Wehn we arrived back the room was ready and as requested we were givena quiet room on a high floor. The view from the 26th floor was worth the stay alone. I was a little disappointed that as a Priority Club member we were not offered the option to upgrade our room and no mention was made of breakfast or dinner. The room itself whilst not the largest was extremely comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. I would certainly stay here again especially if I could get a room with a similar view. 07 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable Loved the hotel. Only complaint was the coffee. It was not warm enough and I prefer Costa coffee not Starbucks 06 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Welcome rest for the frequent business traveller. Situated in Kensington, 100 yards from Gloucester Road Tube station with its direct access to 3 lines, the Holiday Inn Forum hotel has become a home away from home on my frequent business trips to London. The staff are courteous and friendly, and the concierges in addition to providing valuable local knowedge, have on more than one occassion obliged with emergency charging of my SmartPhone, or provided the back-up toothbrush and razor in time of need. The hotel facillities are excellent, with a great bar that just hums on football nights and and a separate dining area for a quieter meal. As a Platinum Priority Club member, upgades to Executive rooms are normally available, and on my visit this week, I was touched to receive a handwritten card from Nathan, together with a bowl of fruit. I would highly recomend the hotel to the Business traveller, and it is also a great location for a weekend in London. David R. 06 February 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Small bedrooms but fair service Stayed here a few times now on business as I couldn't get into my normal choice of hotels. I am an ICH Platinum/Royal Ambassador card holder as I am a loyal ICH customer. My ICH status was recognized upon check-in, but unfortunately there was no option for a room upgrade, which is ok as it is a big and very busy hotel. Needless to say the check-in rep promised to send up the normal Platinum/Ambassador goodies such as water. They never arrived. In addition the lady also said that she had put me in a quiet room with a lovely view of the London eye (16th floor). As it turned out the room was by the service elevator/room (so very noisy late at night and early mornings). The windows were so dirty I couldn't see for 50 metre's let alone the London eye 4 miles away. Needless to say, after a chat with the Duty manager (Kailas) the next evening he sent up water, promised a new room (which i declined as i was tired) and a drink from the bar. i dint need a drink but Kailas asked me to send him an email to explain the issues. I received an email today from Kailas and he has promised to add 10,000 points to my ICH account. So my advice, this hotel is good value in general. But if you are a loyal ICH card member please don't expect too much as it is a big hotel and very popular so not always is a room upgrade available. You also do not have instant access ti the executive lounge as you need to book into an executive room for this. Basically your Platinum/Ambassador status holds no value at all. You will also need to pay for Internet access. As a loyal ICH customer, in my experience if you do have any issues always try to have a chat with the duty managers (Lailas in this case and Jamie before) as they are very customer orientated and listen to you. 05 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great overall experience and even better value! Great location & facilities, especially a first class gym. A great priority club recognition experience also. 04 February 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad, for London Given that this is in the West End and is handy for Olympia and Earl's Court, it represents reasonable value for money - in London terms. Room is a good size (again, for London), comfortable firm bed and the usual choice of pillow firmness options. The restaurant is huge - even so, the breakfast food was fresh and plentiful. Decent gym, but obviously would struggle if there were a lot of people wanting to use it. Overall this place is just Holiday Inn upsized to a very large scale - I expect that those above the 15th floor and with a room facing the right direction would have a great view over the city. 04 February 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel but Expensive Great hotel and location but you must obtain a good room rate before arriving as the hotels prices are very expensive. Not only that £33 for 12 hour parking is Rip Off! 04 February 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful London weekend I hadn't stayed in this hotel before and was a little sceptical. However I need not have been as everything worked out perfectly. I was only there for the weekend and arriving midday Satuday does not give you much time but the hotel staff wee most accomodating allowing my party to store their backs without checking in to enable us to start enjoying ther weekend immediately . Judging by the numbers taking breakfast on Sunday the hotel was very full but it never seemed that way. Would I stay here again - of course. I am now planning to use it for my base when attending meetings in London 02 February 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location This hotel is superbly located in west central London less than one minute from the tube . Very friendly reception . Room functional but corridors very much like school dorms . Beds comfortable . Found staff moody in main bar at night which lacked friendliness and any atmosphere . All reception area good. Elsewhere needs attention 30 January 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rocky start but wondertful recovery After waiting in the lounge 3.5 hours as a Priority customer, I asked to see the manager. Appropriate apologies and quick help was more than sufficient to please me and make my stay as good as I expected. 29 January 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent all-round for a short stay in London I like this hotel. It's well located and easily accessible. The staff are friendly and helpful (not all make good eye contact, though: the receptionists can sometimes speak to you at length all the while looking at a computer screen). Knowledgeable concierges. There is a reasonably good choice of TV channels in the rooms, but the wifi is extortionate. The room service is fine. Food is good, and well presented. Very useful baggage-drop facility. 26 January 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable room and great location Rooms and Breakfast were very good. Room was very clean and comfortable with excellent heating, as we were caught in the snow storms. The location was brilliant, as we were going to the Royal Albert Hall. Access to public transport was also very good. A Briiliant and reasonable location to explore London from. 25 January 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and quiet. I have stayed at the hotel now three times in the last twelve months. It is most convenient for transport in London being 5 minutes from Gloucester Road tube station. The hotel staff are welcoming and helpful. The food is good and reasonably priced for central London. Both restaurant and Room service is excellent. I will be back. 24 January 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by For a London hotel service is excellent So friendly for such a large hotel, good overall services but friendly and excelent level of service and quality 23 January 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, good standards I like the location of this hotel for work and leisure whilst in London. A great location due to being nearby to Gloucester Rd tube station (200m), museums and Royal Albert Hall. The staff are friendly and welcoming especially when you're a regular! The bar can be full at times as the hotel is frequented by a lot of airline staff on overnight stays but this shouldn't put people off using this hotel. There are a lot of good restaurants in the local area if you don't want to use the hotel bar or restaurant. I thoroughly recommend the hotel and will be using it during the summer for a weekend break in London. 23 January 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet ,convenent and comfortable Great location . Very helpful concierge service .Good bed for sleeping and quiet hotel . Usually a good experience. Price competitive This time Front desk check in disappointing . One person who seemed disinterested. Asked same unnecessary question twice .Clearly did not care if regular customer ( Priority Gold ) or if had already on line booking . Room clean but not stocked or restocked e.g no replacement regular coffee sachets some days and no milk containers on check in . WiFi price out of line . made me go round the corner to use internet cafe. Why not offer free or discount as as perk for regular customers ? 20 January 2013
