Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Feel the Wind (not in a Good Way) This was my second stay at Holiday Inn Express Kuta Square. My first stay was lovely. Unfortunately, the way the second stay started was all wrong. They could not locate my reservation. The reservation came up clearly in my IHG app and reservation email. It took them over 20 minutes before they "decided" to make a new booking without informing me in the first place. It wrecked havoc in my point eranings, although in the end they came through, thanks to their helpful guest relation manager. I finally got my room key and went up to my room quickly because I had an appointment I had to keep. The room looked clean and acceptable. So I quickly left and did not go back until late. It was already late and I was ready to get some shut-eye. That was when I noticed the window rattled when the wind blew. My mistake was not asking for a different room immediately. I kept hoping it would be a minimum disturbance. However, the window kept whistling and rattling all night long. It woke me a few times during the night. I wish the management would do something about that. February 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fair enough hotel The hotel is suitable for transfer not for resort. Obviously, express brand doesn't give me much surprise, small room, normal breakfast, average room facilities and the low sleep quality because of the noise from outside. But the staff are really enthusiastic and always look forward to help guests. They will help you to pick up your luggage and to call a taxi. The place where the hotel locates is at the center of Kuta downtown. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and markets around it. It's so convenient to eat and shopping. Moreover, you can get Kuta beach by walking in 10 minutes. January 25, 2016
