Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Thansgiving Visit We stayed here for 5 nights over the Thanksgiving period and were totally satisfied with the hotel The location is hard to beat even though the block is a little run down. 2 minutes walk to the Subway on 4th Av or 2 minutes walk to the bus stop on 3rd Av make it easy to get to just about anywhere in NY Add in a 5 minute walk up to 5th Av for shop and Restaurants if those closer are not to your liking and everything you need is to hand 8th floor room was spacious enough and there was little noise from outside Breakfast was perfectly fine with a reasonable selection of hot and cold items although it did get a little full in the breakfast room one day with a basketball team in there Staff were friendly enough although we had no reason for any great interaction with them 06 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Experience Overall, this was a great hotel experience. The location was perfect for our needs. We were only provided with towels for two though we were a party of four. That was easily resolved. However, the room temperature was not so easily fixed. We kept changing the mode to cool and the temp to 60 but it would revert back to heat. At one point, the room temp was 79. We discovered too late that the windows open, otherwise we would have had them open thru the night!! 04 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice location and staff The only three drawbacks were 1) the internet wasn't reliable, 2) the thermostat seemed to have a mind of its own, and 3) the only elevator in the building was slow and often crowded. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again if we're in Brooklyn. 03 December 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ice Machine Room This hotel is a convenient choice for your stay in Brooklyn. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The room was small but adequate, clean and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. The main issue was it was next to the ice machine. At night several times it was used and I realized I was in for a night of being awakened to the sound of this extremely loud machine. Finally at 5:30 a.m. when it was used yet again, I decided to wake for the day because I knew I would not be able to sleep with this constant noise. 30 November 2014
