Only negative comment would be that it said if you could hang up towel to reuse it and I got a new towel every day. Not really a problem to me, just that they claim it would be green to reuse but did not do it. 30 August 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Out of the way, but worth the stay We tried to get a hotel in the downtown area, but everything was booked. The price was right for this location and really wasn't that far away. The Namur Metro station is only about 10 minutes away and the price and ease of the Metro made it very easy to get into town. Would definitely pick this location again if I was to return to Montreal. 29 August 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by horrible check-in experience checked in by a very cold, not very motivated person by the name of Shannon. no welcome as club membrr, no information about any ammenities - nothing! when we entered the room, the sofa bed wasn't prepared. I reserved for 4 people. when i went back to the registration to complain i only heard that the hotel doesn't do that. message to me - i will most likely not book with HI express again on a family vacation. the room was full of dust. my daughter had to take her asthma spray to breath in that room. 14 August 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Stay I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay in the greater Montreal area. The facilities are fairly new and clean. Quality of continental breakfast food served is quite good. There is a small bistro/restaurant located in the hotel - food selection is a bit limited, however, quality of food is good and the staff are quite friendly and pleasant. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the fact there is a gas station located across from the hotel and when trucks stop to fill up, some of them create quite a bit of noise. 12 August 2014

The convenience to and from the Airport was incredible and if that is what you are looking for this is the place to stay. On the other hand I was quite disappointed by our check in and the hassle we had after we checked in. The hotel had given keys to our room to another guest and they came in and woke my son and I up (did i mention we were on a flight all night then walked all over downtown Montreal while we waited to check in). SO that was the first time we were awaken. Then Housekeeping comes in to check what is going on an why were were in the room. Then we were awaken a third time by the front desk asking us if we had the "right room", I was like umm yeah you checked us in here. Then she has the nerve to ask a dumb question if we got in with a room key lol. I was like YES you checked us in. Then they said that they had another person with my name in another room.... anyways it was a big mess and we did not make our meeting that night due to us not getting the sleep we needed. Management did apologize and gave me some extra points so that was nice, but missing my meeting with my friend that I haven't seen in years was priceless. 12 August 2014

But we reported it at the front desk and we got apologies and compensation like the hotel is promising in their advertisements. At the end of our vacation we gave it a change and stayed 1 night again. This time everything went well and we had a good stay. 10 August 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value to stay and explore Montreal We stayed at the Montreal Airport Holiday Inn Express during a road trip vacation to Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. The location was great for us as we could park the car at the hotel, then use the shuttle to connect to the Montreal public transport system from the airport. It worked out really convenient and easy. The hotel itself was one of the better ones on our trip. The breakfast was hot and fresh, and the rooms were large and clean. All together a great visit. 10 August 2014

The staff was very helpful in recommending amenities that were available nearby, and providing adequate directions to and from the hotel. The pool water was too cold though. 06 August 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed We had to change rooms because the TV did not work. Instructions were not provided on how to work the TV and when we called for someone to help we were told someone would be up right away. We waited 20 minutes and no one came, so we called back down. We were given a new room because of the TV. The air conditioning unit did not work properly. No instructions were provided for the unit. We could not get the fan to run constantly, (to block out noises). The unit would not keep the temperature we programmed in. It would cool down to the desired temperature and then immediately heat back up to a higher temperature. We had to constantly get up at night to make the room cooler. The free airport shuttle service was disappointing. We called down and were told the departure time. We arrived in the lobby 10 minutes early and sat there waiting. After waiting 7 to 10 minutes past the stated departure time. We asked the front desk person what was going on. We were surprised she did not get the driver on her own after seeing us waiting for so long, but she did hunt him down after we said something. Later in the day when we needed a pick-up from the airport the shuttle never came. We had to call for the pick-up. We had not been told by the driver or front desk person that we had to do that. We had questioned both of them about other things relating to the service and they never mentioned it. We have used free airport shuttles at many other hotels and we have never had to call for a pick-up. The other hotels have always had scheduled pick up times through the day and evening. The breakfast was only so-so, not as many choices as other places. 21 July 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Returning guest I have stayed at this hotel many times on business since it opened. I ALWAYS had a complaint on the HVAC but the location, people and amenities of the hotel kept me coming back. This trip with my wife was unacceptable. The common areas were dirty and in a state of disrepair, as was our room. Dirty linens, broken furniture, leaky plumbing in both toilet and shower, dirty windows, and a breakfast that was barely edible were most of the problems. We cancelled the last 2 days of our stay and it is doubtful I will ever return. 16 July 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I would not recommend this hotel. Above all, unkind and unprofessional staffs at the front desk. 1. Very embarrassing experience with their attitude to travellers. They did not want to be bothered by travelers. 2. Gave us wrong info about public transportation and parking lots. 3. Poor wifi. Called the front desk asking to check wifi. They asked me back immediately "No one complains. Check your phone or computer" It turned out their wifi had a problem on the day. We were upset with not wifi but their attitude. 4. Broken A/C. Called the front desk next day to come and check it. A staff came and fixed it, but it did not work perfectly. On the day, we slept in a steam room. When check out, we complain this to staffs. They said with smile " Other than A/C, everything was ok? Your check-out is all set" We just left there because did not want to ruin out trip by them any longer. 16 July 2014

Staffs at hotel front desk do not want to be bothered by travelers and gives wrong info about transportation. 2. Poor wifi, so kept calling them to check, but they asked me back twice " no one complains, so check your phone". It turned out they had an issue with wifi. 3. Broken A/C. Kept calling them to come and check. A staff came and checked it, but it did not work perfectly. That day we slept in a steam room. 4. Access to public transportation is very difficult.
