Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Not my favorite Holiday Inn Express This is an older hotel with a fresh coat of paint, and the fresh coat of paint does very little to disguise the fact that you are in an older hotel. The "workout room" is oddly plopped down in the middle of the breakfast area. Also, I left some things in my room and when I called to inquire about the left behind items, among them a bottle cologne that was left in the small bathroom with 100% certainty, you would be hard pressed to speak to someone less concerned or more arrogant than the person I was forwarded to. I come to this area frequently and stay often at Holiday Inn Express, but I would never consider staying here again. Spend the extra how ever much more money it takes and stay at a better IHG property. 20 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice people make the difference I am a business traveler and this property has many good qualities that make it a good value...great location (restaurants and retail), easy to get to (given NJ traffic), comfortable rooms, great breakfast buffet and cookies at check-in. However the nicest thing about this location is the Management and the people that work there, they are all friendly and truly care about their customers. I have stayed multiple times because they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. When I travel to Northern NJ, this is my choice. 19 October 2014

The Front Desk Staff were very helpful and arranged car service in the morning. The Bed was so comfy, I wanted to stay in it forever. The bathroom was clean and looked like it came out of a magazine. The room quite. The airconditioner unti was quite and kept the room at a perfect temperture. 14 October 2014

This did not compare to those, hotel room was rather dreary and lacked color, needs brightening up. Other wise amenities offered were only average. 10 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay in Paramus Well-located. Extremely close to many shops and restaurants. Clean very comfortable room. You can control your own heat and air conditioning. Free local (201) calls. Friendly helpful staff who are very welcoming when you check-in. Very nice breakfast with many choices. Since my last stay, they have added an elevator so it is easier to bring up your things if your room is on the 2nd floor. Great value for the price. Very highly recommended. 09 October 2014
