Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Memorable stay in Beijing I stayed at Intercontinental Hotel Financial Street for one night on July 23. Access from airport to hotel was really good. I took airport express and subway(line 2). I could get to hotel only one transfer. My room was upgrade to 1King Club Elite Suite room. Room was separated living area and bedroom area and overlooking the Central Televison Tower. Each area was equipped with bathtub,separeted shower,toilet ,so very useful for familly. King size bed was very comfortable. As I'm Japanese,I hope a razor was equipped as one of bath amenities. All staff were very kind and helpful. Especially , club lounge staff ,Charles and Dolis took good care of me. Thanks to staff's help ,I really enjoyed my stay. I'm looking forward to staying again! 28 July 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The best value for money The hotel has an excellent location which is a stone throw from the Chinese Regulators, CSRC, CBRC and CIRC, as well as major insurance companies (China Life and Tai Kang Insurance) and commercial banks (Hua Xia and Everbright). Both management and staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. From the club lounge to the front desk, services are excellent and staff will go out of their way to assist. The stay is indeed a memorable experience. Prices are economical compared to other 5-star hotels. It is indeed a GEM in Beijing and a hotel that has the best value for money. 23 July 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 一次印象深刻且身心愉悦的入住体验 金融街洲际酒店是我在国内入住的洲际酒店中,服务最好、档次最高的酒店,虽然在所有洲际酒店中,金融街洲际的硬件设施不是最好的,但是酒店的服务很到位,我非常喜欢,和北辰洲际比,那简直可以说是天壤之别! 作为优越会会员我赚足了面子,作为皇家洲际大使会员,我更觉得金融街洲际的服务标准和管理水平,应该是值得其它洲际酒店学习和借鉴的。 金融街洲际本身入住率就高,在皇家洲际大使会员泛滥的中国,酒店还要为RA会员准备套房实在是件很纠结的事情,从走进酒店看到大堂迎宾人员亲切真诚的微笑开始,房型好坏对我已经不是那么重要啦,这里没有其它洲际酒店气派且富丽堂皇的大堂,却有着宾至如归的良好体验,好的管理团队和敬业的员工才是洲际最大的财富! CI时因为没有套房,前台接待的先生选择了先让我入住休息,待有房时再为我更换,而且下午也主动履行了承诺,因为同行朋友过生日,这对我来说也是个超出我预期的惊喜! 酒店真的把能给会员提供的权益全都提供了,而且还把CO时间设置成下午六点,欢迎函上各种权益写的非常清晰,虽然是英文函,哈哈! 虽然很多中国人喜欢占便宜,但是我还是选择了尽量少的使用酒店小酒吧里的饮料和尽早的退房,因为我喜欢当一个受酒店尊重的客人,当酒店大度的向你提供超出预期的服务时,我更应该懂得相互尊重、相互谅解的重要性,真心期待下次的再次入住! 也真希望那些头顶洲际品牌,以条件好而沾沾自喜的XX酒店能好好学一下金融街洲际酒店,拼硬件和环境早晚会有"人老珠黄"的那一天,责任、使命、尊重、人本才是酒店管理之道,拥有真诚、友善、守信的员工才是洲际的核心竞争力! 19 July 2013

Staff was not as friendly compared to other IGA hotels I stayed at while I was in China I have also misplaced a dress that I bought while I was in Beijing I asked one of the staff while I was in Xian to ring and see if they could find the dress. But it wasn't found. Whether it was hiding under the bed or accidentally placed in the bin. The room no. was 1810. It was a Yellow and black dress Overall it was a enjoyable experience. 25 June 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Another kind of Intercontinental Service I stayed at Beijing Financial Street Intercontinental by redeeming my weekend voucher. Upon arriving at the hotel, I presented my ambassador card so the staff could check my reservation status. At a glance I saw the tag "trainee". I didn't think he recognize the status of the ambassador for Intercontinental Hotel. Until after a few moment, he just said a welcome word. Such greetings felt like different from the experience I had when I stayed at the other IHG properties. It was less warm. During the check in process, I asked about the internet connectivity, and the staff had to check the status again, despite my ambassador status which grant me the free internet access. Something basic that the staff could not immediately respond. After the check in process, the staff told me to leave my luggage and bag #at the lobby.. a distance from the reception#. I understood that concierge staff will handle it, but at the moment, I did not see any concierge staff approaching my luggage and secure them. When I feel hesitate to leave my bag, the staff again told me to leave it to concierge staff. Then I leave the bags for my room. The next day, when I asked for more shower gel and extra slipper, I had to call many times. Perhaps the staffs were too busy to pick up the phone. After few trials, I got connected and I asked for the my necessities. A few moments later, the staff knocked at my room and just "hand" me 1 additional slipper and 1 bottle of shower gel, and then he left. I was quite shocked. No smiling or greeting. Something I think I can get from Intercontinental. After finishing my things outside, I rushed back to the hotel to check out. I was around 1 pm. My keycard could not open my room. So I called the reception to help me to open the door. At the same time, I saw a man also need the same assistance for his room. After a moment, one staff came, but he brought the card to open the room for that man and he did not have any information and instruction to open my room. So he had to go again to bring the other card. It took more than 15 minutes before I could have my room opened and pack my things for check out. The experience I had during my stay was quite far from my expectation. 23 June 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 非常热情的服务! 酒店给我提供了非常好的服务,房间得到了升级.客房内也很干净整洁.特别感谢一下门口迎宾的几位小伙子,热情礼貌,也为我介绍了很多北京的特色,为我的旅游提供了许多建议.十分勤快地为我安排出租车,为客人服务的主动性值得赞扬. 行政酒廊的几位服务员的服务也很热情体贴,能感受到家的舒适和自在. 说一下需要改进的地方,首先是酒店设施有些老旧,浴缸设施有些老化.另外就是门口打车非常困难,经常需要等很久才有空车,建议酒店与出租车公司进行洽谈合作,解决这个问题. 下次来北京还会选择入住,期待再次感受贵酒店的服务! 08 June 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Worst intercontinental in the world No room available when I arrive in the hotel. I waited like 2 hours. Welcome fruits are only 3 apples. So cheap? Instant service line, no one answer it. I feel terrible in this hotel! And I feel disappointed about intercontinental. Intercontinental is the luxury hotel brand? Are you kidding me? Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bedroom but service to be improved 1. It is very inconvenient to use internet and wifi in room as it needs to be signed on every day. Sometimes, the connection times out in the middle of my websapp. Since the service is already free of charge, why need such trouble to sign on. 2. The staff in the Moonsoon restaurant need to improve their service quality. They are too engage in their work such that they shout to each other in the restaurant. It seems I am in a local Chinese restaurant rather than in a luxury international hotel. Also, they don't greet the guest in the lift or corridor. They do not have the courtesy to let the guest to enter the lift first. 3. During one day, I need to call the operator for 3 times so that I can get a bucket of ice cubes. 30 May 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by F&B I went to the seafood buffet during my stay. The food is very cheap compare with the price. I asked the manager why there is no good seafood for a seafood buffet?He told me that many seafood is not ready to serve. This is not the correct answer. If you do not have enough time to prepare the food, you should delay the buffet time. You can not say we do not have time to prepare the food but you open the buffet to the guests. 17 May 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Some good and bad experience Due to my business nature, I need to travel to Beijing once every 2-3 months. Since your hotel has the geograhic advantage; i.e. close to my office, I therefore have my stay there every time. Hopefully, my feedback enable to my furture stays to be more pleasant. My 1st visit there was back in Aug 2012, my first night there was a horrible experience whereby I found my back was full iof rashes at woke up at aound 2am due to the unbearable itching. Luckily you staff was helpful enough to help to change to another room but it was almost 4am before I went back to sleep. Please note that I have to get up at 7am to go to work the following morning. Also, when I call your front desk to ask for a shaving kit in English, nobod could understand me until after having to wait for the manager. So I would suggest to upgrade your staff's English skill. My next stay in Nov 2012 was ok except the check-in process wa slow. There were staff behind the counter next to the check-in one but they just stood there even seeing people lining up for check-in. My last stay was March this year. The check-in process has greatly improved. There was 2 people ahead of me and only 2 ladies working behind the counter. Wonder why you do not put more people to help if there is a line, it was aound 12pm. Anyway, one of your staff was very helpful and led me to 6th floor to do the check-in. That was the service I would expect from such a famous brand name hotel. Nevertheless, at the check out on a Friday morning, again only 2 staff working behind the counter. Customers normally need to get the check-out done to either catch a plane or something. I think you may want to look into the service standard at the check-in check-out counter. My most pleasant time would be having breakfast on the 6th floor. The ladies there provided great service, so a big thumb up for them. Best Regards 23 April 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by wonderful stay Last week,I spent my Qing Ming Holiday there at FS intercontinental hotel.Everything was OK and I enjoyed my stay.But there were so many people not only in lounge on 6th floor but still in dinner room on the 5th floor ,my friend and I spent too much time at lounge on looking for vacant seats,thanks for a nice waitress,she helped me moving seats from other table to my table.Wish you arrange more seats in lounge in the future. 10 April 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by One of my worst experience Nothing in this hotel impresses me and nothing was right from the moment I entered the hotel. 1. Bell boy needs to be strongly reminded to help carry my bags. 2. Bell boy drop my bag hard on the ground after dragging it for less than 5 seconds. 3. Service staff entered my room and when ahead to do his job without asking my permission even I was in the room. 4. Service staff at the restaurant refused to serve me tea during breakfast and challenged me to take the pot of tea left on the table before I arrived at the table. No apologies from the managers only after one day. 5. At my departure, I asked for a taxi and told the staff to tell the driver where I was going and no information was given to the taxi driver. The service standard in this hotel is unbelievable and can you imagine what I have to go through as I am traveling with my aged parents during this trip. 14 March 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Guest Rooms. I stayed at Club Intercontinental and it was really comfortable. Our Team of 6 persons visited Beijing 20th and 26th January 2013 and we all stayed at the Beijing Intercontinental Financial Street. We all found our 5 rooms and 1No. Suite very warm and cozy, especially considering the wintry conditions! The Restuarant on the 5th floor was great especially at Breakfast and Dinner, with so much selection and tasty food. All team members had a good time each night enjoying menu that ranged from huge lobsters to spicy chicken dishes. The Dessert Corner would not be left out with its lovely bread puddings and cheese cakes! Nice place really! Only snag maybe in the communication skills of Front Desk Staff, but then again China is not an English speaking country so we could understand and actually do commend them! However, your hotel could become better: more choices of food and drinks in the 6th floor lounge with staff who are more professional and knowledgable; People at the reception could smile more frequently when a tired traveller is checking in, hoping he/she could live like home in Intercontinental BJ Finance Street; Staff of the Gym and Pool should not chitchat with girls from SPA when customers are asking for lockers or towels...I know we are not Fairmont or Riz-Carlton, but you are still a prestigious one. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 整体满意,部分服务不够满意 因为北京大雪,到达酒店当天已经是凌晨2点多。让朋友提前check in,整体来说,住宿体验还是挺好的。 但是整个住宿体验存在两点需要改进: 1.到达酒店后,想check一下白金会员的行政酒廊待遇。但是当晚前台直接回复我说,你不能享用。我多次提醒自己是白金会员,但是却一直告诉我说我不能享受行政酒廊待遇。大概持续几个来回后,才最终告知我必须要皇家大使级别才可以享用。整个沟通过程非常不顺畅。 2.12月15日那天是我的生日,在预定酒店的时候也已经注明。但是整个入住到退房的过程中,都没有收到酒店方面的任何礼物、或贺卡甚至是一句祝福或者问候。 希望以后能够有所改进,作为白金会员能够享受的基本待遇是否需要更加明确的沟通。 08 January 2013
