Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fair value for money One of the advantages of staying at the InterContinental hotel chain is that you enjoy the benefits when you have an IC membership. Staff are also generally helpful, but unfortunately, their English at InterContinental Beijing Financial Street are not at the level you may expect. The pianist in the bar, who played jazz, was really good. 22 December 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Warm and thoughtful service makes me feel at home In term of the hardware facilities, it is the first class. Transportation is also very convenient. But what impressed me the most is the warm and thoughtful service of the hotel staffs. From check-in, concierge, room service reflects the most warm and thoughtful service. Especially, Zoe, Club Lounge Shiftleader, her warm and thoughtful service makes me feel at home! I hereby express my thanks! 19 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Attentive Staff Employees in the Monsoon restaurant were attentive and they put their efforts to make me feel like at home. All compliments to the management. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room & Services Dear Sir/Madam Please see below: 1) Concierge - I am very pleased with their service and knowledge on the places of interest. Gave us very good and practical suggestion. They are patience and kind. An asset to your hotel. 2) Hotel Club Lounge a) Customer Service Staff - I am also pleased with their service. Always serve with a smile. They are patience and kind. Good coordination with the internal staff when we have queries that are not within their responsibilities.Asset to your Hotel. b) Waitress - They are always serving with a smile. Very polite and hardworking. Asset to your Hotel. c) Manager (sorry not sure who they are) ** 2 French person: 1 young lady and 1 young Man - Just my personal observation. But you have to check it personally to find out what is really the truth. Reason being, I was only there for that 1 hour for 2 days when I saw it. My wife also observed it too. - They seem to be selective who they want to serve (i.e. mainly the non chinese). Even when there are only chinese around, they do not serve them at all. - When the 2 of them meet at the club lounge (i.e. where the food serving are), they will talked and laughed (this is not an issue) while the rest of her colleagues were busy. But they will forget their role.... I was one of the person trying to get attention for assistance. d) Laundry and the Person who clean the room - I enjoyed the smile and always willing to assist. Thanks to them. 3) Front Office Do you have a dedicated check-in counter for Gold Member who are staying in the Club Room. This incident, I have to queued up after alighted from your hotel limo who picked us up from the airport. I do recalled, it was different from my october stay in your hotel. 4) Room furnitures and curtains You will need to refurbish the room furnitures as they are old. Next, the curtain in my club room has a big hole. I am sure that this has been there for a long time and no one has taken the responsibility to change it. 5) Pillow I have to apologise that I need to have a TempurPedic Cervical Pillow (or similar) to sleep. this is a wish list. For my stay (not just particularly your hotel), I have difficulty to have good rest and have neck and back pain after every night sleep. 6) Breakfast Average. The spread maybe wide but not use to the taste. I have better food and spread when I was staying in other hotel. Overall, I will still willing to stay in your hotel mainly because of your staff. ESPECIALLY those I have shared my good experience with. Do say a word of thank you as I may not have the opportunity too. Thank you. 15 December 2014
