The Intercontinental Dallas does a very good job making sure each guests needs are taken care. No details are overlooked. It has exceeded my expectations every time I have stayed here. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dallas Business Trip All in all the entire stay was enjoyable. There were a few hiccups that are going to happen from time to time no matter where you stay. The Staff at the Intercontinental went above and beyond to make sure that these issues were taken care of. The food was wonderful and I cant say enough about the staff. November 25, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad, but datedwith issues Hotel was ok and I stayed there because the conference was in the same hotel. For two nights, I had lukewarm water at best, and a cold shower is not a pleasant thing to wake up to. Décor is average, but needs updating. Elevators are painfully slow, taking a long time to settle on a floor before opening. From a staff issue, it was disconcerting that I got a charge on my bill for the mini-bar when I did not even have a key to the mini-bar. It took several minutes for the staff to put a credit on my bill (not even remove it, just balance it out). November 24, 2014

They even took my advice on how to upgrade the gym with a water cool and a place on the gym wall to hold the TV remote. November 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Old school cool We were given a two tier upgrade combining two seperate room reservations for the Presidential Suite. The room was spacious and comfortable leaving everyone room to have space as they needed it, though the decor looks as though it might be from the mid-eighties and could stand some updating. As others pointed out the "hot" water is quite mild. The steam shower and the jacuzzi were both broken and as such we weren't able to try these out. The mattresses are terrible. The one thing a top-tier hotel should always get right should be the bed, that is after all what you are buying. The staff is very friendly and professional. All in all, a pleasant experience that left a little to be desired and hopefully improved upon. November 16, 2014

As a IHG club member, I was upgraded to a top floor suite and treated like a king. The views were good (come on, it is Dallas), but the experience being treated like a valued club member was great. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Really Bad Shower I am sorry -- I never write reviews, but I just had to comment on what was one of the worst shower experiences that I have had at a major hotel, actually at any hotel. The water pressure was awful and the water temperature was tepid, at best. At first I rationalized it by thinking that everyone was probably taking a shower around the same time -- but a hotel that is billing itself as a great place for conferences should be able to handle such usage. On a positive note, there was a wedding immediately below my room on Saturday night and when I called the front desk to see how long the party was likely to last I was immediately transferred to another room. The staff are professional, the conference rooms are clean and well tended, and the guest rooms are clean and comfortable. Many thanks, especially, to the server and cook in the restaurant Saturday morning when I arrived a bit early for lunch. They quickly and graciously accommodated my desire for a take-out sandwich on my way out of town. Also, I appreciated the concierge's great advice Friday night--she directed my colleagues and me to a wonderful restaurant and called ahead to make reservations for us during a very busy time. When my travels take me back to the Dallas area, I'll plan to stay with you again. November 11, 2014

They were very accommodating for the possibility of any needs that I might have such as late departure. We were able to take a pleasant walk to areas for lunch and the hotel is vary conveniently located near a large selection of dining venues. The rooms felt fresh and comfortable. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My stays at this hotel I have stayed at this hotel twice. Overall I have had a great experience on both occasions. The FD personnel are extremely accommodating and have great attitude. During my most recent stay, my room was on the 11th floor and had a very good view. The bed was firm but very comfortable. The convenience of being able to self park my car was a major plus. Easy access to a major highway is another plus. The drawback on both occasions was lack of adequate shower water pressure and lukewarm hot water temperature, Another minimal inconvenience was the fact that, during my most recent stay, the outdoor Jacuzzi was malfunctioning. When I turned the switch on the water in the Jacuzzi pool turned completely green! Mind you the water in the swimming pool was crystal clear. November 2, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cozy, Comfortable and Clean This modern hotel is impressive from the moment you walk in. It has a nice, roomy, comfortable and trendy lounge. You'll love the crisp, white bed linens and the comfortable mattress and pillows. The room is nice sized. There's free internet, too, plus a free shuttle to the Galeria Mall, not to mention great restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, their restaurant is excellent. Their server, Juan, is legendary in his expedient service. I always ask for him when I go there. When I am in Dallas on business, I have stayed here except once when it was full. I l can see it's important to book it early. There was no comparison between the Intercontinental and the other hotel. The Intercontinental Hotel has become a home away from home for me.
