Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Business Travel Hotel You can't beat the location - very accessible to just about everything. Hotel I would be ideal for business travel. Not really up to par for children. Pool very small. Room could have been cleaner. Lamp shades were stained. Beds were comfy, though. Ridiculous that you have to pay extra for WIFII or for a refrigerator. Those two things are standard in most other hotels. 21 January 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tampa IC Good, But Not Great I enjoy the staff and service as well as the ability to order from Shula's Steak house for in-room dining. The shuttle to and from the airport is quite convenient, though it does not run in time for early flights, As a Royal Ambassador, I am used to rooms with a more utilitarian layout and more luxuriant touches. The shower was functional, but nowhere near as nice as the rainshower versions in other IC hotels. The lack of a club lounge is a real negative. 21 January 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Unaddressed problems... I stay at this hotel often when I visit Tampa for business. We also use the lounge area and bar for numerous meetings during our stays. Two weeks in a row I informed the staff about a slow shower drain (which essentially has you showering in clogged water at your feet). Two mentions during one stay two weeks ago and a third mention during my stay last week. All times the issue was acknowledged and not fixed. It is hard to rate the hotel highly on numerous categories and recommend the property with a situation like this. To date, they have done nothing to address the poor experience. Everything else is the basics when staying at an above average business hotel. 20 January 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient Location Great Staff Was in Tampa on Business and stayed at the Intercontinental near the Airport, but was attending an event at the fairgrounds, so it was very convenient to get back and forth each day. Area around the hotel has ample restaurants and places to eat, and of course if you feel like staying in there are great steaks at Shula's in the hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful with my stay and easily offered good suggestions for dinner each night. Overall a very nice stay. 19 January 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dont use the mini bar and check your bill after you arrive home Make sure you check your bank charge after you arrive home because there may be $20 more added to your bill for items you never took from their hype sensitive technology in the mini bar. Even moving an item and not replacing it exactly will charge you. 17 January 2015
