Not a good option for people with disabilities

If you are a person with a disability, please be forewarned that this hotel is probably not a good option for you. The rooms are exceptionally small and cramped. We were in a handicapped room with two queen beds and there simply was not much room to move around, especially with a wheelchair. The room was very narrow and there was not enough room between the end of the bed and the desk to move effectively. Every time I had to move I was bumping into something.The bathroom had enough space to move around in, but it had a shower/tub combination, so that was not convenient. I do not understand why hotel chains persist in putting a bathtub in a handicapped room.
Another head scratcher was why Candlewood put a bistro table and stools in a handicapped room. Overall, it seemed as if whoever designed this hotel, and handicapped rooms had no idea of how to effectively accommodate people with disabilities.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. Staff were friendly, room was clean and they accommodated the early check in request that we made. Plus the price of the room was great for what we got at this stay.

The guy that checked us in helped get my rewards points on the reservation. He was very kind and helpful getting me another pillow. I asked for another blanket because the room wouldn't stay over 64 degrees. He tried to get a blanket but I think he got confused and grabbed a mattress topper instead. I'm not at all upset because it kinda functioned like a weighted blanket in an odd way.
