You can enjoy a performance at Capitol Theatre, one of eight Canadian theatres decorated in the style of the Pantages, just a short walk from us the Crowne Plaza Downtown Moncton. Theatre New Brunswick and Symphony New Brunswick are some of the regular performers.

What's New

The new Moncton Downtown Event Center called the Avenir Centre features 211,000 square feet with 8,800 fixed seats and increased capacity of over 9,500 seats for multipurpose events. A 1.5 acre plaza with a capacity to host 1,500 people featuring a main stage, child and family area, public art, fire pit, outdoor skating rink in winter and much more. The new home of the Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL)

Tips

Expect cooler weather from September through November and colder evenings in the fall leading into Winter. Comfortable walking shoes are a great item to pack as we are walking distance to many of the local hot spots.

Must Do

Visit everything Moncton has to offer, great entertainment, restaurants, pubs and bars. Great shopping with everything from the small craft shops to the big box stores. Moncton is an ideal location for setting up base and doing day trips in any direction. Sit back and relax or go out there and take it all in.

Don't Go Home Without

Twice every 24 hours, you can witness the rare, natural wonder of a tidal bore, just 2.3 km from our hotel. Moncton's Petitcodiac River empties twice each day and the Bay of Fundy, which has the world's highest tides, forces the water upstream in a wave!
