Tips

Perth is also the sunniest city with an average of 3000 hours of sunlight a year, so don't forget your hat. A nice way to travel around the city is by using the free CAT bus service with four defined routes that will take you to popular inner city attractions free of charge. Perth is regarded as one of the windiest cities in the world. It's a great idea to bring a jacket, even though it is sunny.

Be sure to visit Fremantle. This satellite city encouraged the initial growth and development of Perth. Have some lunch and coffee on the cappuccino strip, visit Fremantle Prison to learn its historical relevance. Celebrate with some of the best beers produced in local boutique breweries. If it’s party time, you must visit Northbridge and its cultural centre which is always full of activity.
