Enjoy WA seafood and the greatest sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Optus Stadium opened in January 2018 located less than 2.5 km from our hotel. This 60,000 seat, world-class, multi-purpose Stadium hosts a variety of sport and entertainment events including AFL, International and Big Bash League cricket, soccer, rugby league union and international music artists.

Tips

Perth is also the sunniest city with an average of 3000 hours of sunlight a year, so don't forget your hat. A nice way to travel around the city is by using the free CAT bus service with five defined routes that will take you to popular inner city attractions free of charge. Perth is regarded as one of the windiest cities in the world. It's a great idea to bring a jacket, even though it is sunny.

Must Do

Be sure to visit Fremantle. This satellite city encouraged the initial growth and development of Perth. Have some lunch and coffee on the cappuccino strip, visit Fremantle Prison to learn its historical relevance. Celebrate with some of the best beers produced in local boutique breweries. If it’s party time, you must visit the active Yagan Square and the Northbridge Cultural Centre.
