The captivating landscape of the Valley of the Sun offers a variety of desert vistas. Jump on the Light Rail to downtown Phoenix to the West or to Tempe to the East to explore many different areas of these cities. This includes many events at Footprint Arena and Chase Field, Dining, Arizona Science Center, Phoenix Art District and Museums. Head to Tempe for Mill Avenue, Live Music and Arizona State University Sun Devil Athletics at Sun Devil Stadium and Wells Fargo Arena.

Spring is the perfect time to visit the Valley of the Sun with mild temperatures and the desert vegetation starting to blossom. When exploring the local area or going for a hike, make sure to bring your water bottle and sunscreen.

Papago Park Phoenix

Papago Park offers a variety of hiking trails for all levels, including the iconic Hole-in-the-Rock formation, as well as fishing, biking trails and access to top attractions. The trails are typically smooth with little elevation gain, providing easy access for walking, hiking, mountain biking or trail running. The park is split into east and west sides by Galvin Parkway. Desert Botanical Garden

The Desert Botanical Garden offers the world's finest collection of arid plants from deserts of the world in a unique outdoor setting. The Garden has more than 50,000 desert plants on display throughout five thematic trails that illustrate topics such as conservation, desert living, plants and people of the Sonoran Desert. Oct. 7- Nov. 25 Sunday Concerts in the Garden. This all-ages concert series, featuring Arizona’s best musicians, is a great experience to enjoy friends and Family.
