Within walking distance are Kaplan Street and the reconstructed Sarona, or Settlement of Templars. Or drive 15 minutes by Dankal light rail to Jaffa's maze-like alleys, where artisans are at work as you meander through the old Arab town. Its flea market has bags of personality.

Newly opened Light rail DanKal will take you in 15 minutes to Jaffa center. Designer shops, bars, art, music and markets have revived the long-abandoned train station that connected Jaffa with Jerusalem until the 1950s. The handsomely refurbished terminal and carriages are 20 minutes from the Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center.
