Featured Cancun Hotels

Stay in one of our Holiday Inn® Cancún hotels and in no time you'll be dipping your toes in the turquoise Caribbean seas stretched along the resort's buzzing Hotel Zone.

Our Cancún hotels make it easy for you to explore the famous white-sand beaches of this Mexican resort. Follow local families to Playa Caracol, on the island's north side, where kids can splash about in calm, shallow seas. The resorts' eastern beaches face the open Caribbean Sea, where the waves are better suited for watersports like parasailing or tubing. Hop on a bus or a cab and head southward to the more secluded sands of Playa Delfines. Guests at our hotels in Cancún can take a short drive south on the mainland to spend the day at Xcaret, a natural water park of underground rivers and ocean coves. Strap on the park's Sea Trek gear-an oxygen-equipped underwater helmet-and meet colorful parrotfish face to face.

Cancún's beaches are lined with restaurants, cafes and bars, but the authentic Mexican restaurants on the mainland in Cancún City are worth the short drive from our Cancún hotels. Here's where you can sample the region's Maya specialties, such as cochinita pibil, sweet and savory barbecue pork wrapped in banana leaves. Or settle in for dinner in the comfort of the Hotel Zone, where two shopping malls-La Isla Shopping Village and Forum by Sea-hold dozens of top-notch restaurants, from Thai to Italian. Go straight from dinner to dancing at one of the malls' rocking nightclubs. The fiesta lasts until daybreak-all the better to watch the spectacular sunrise over the Caribbean Sea.

Book a room at our Cancún hotels in winter for the balmiest weather, or in spring or autumn when fewer crowds mean more beach space for you and your family.

Absolutely Phenomenal!
By david11187495
Because of our conflicting work schedules, my wife and I have never taken a vacation in the twelve years that we have been together. This was our first. From the very first moment of arriving at [More] the hotel, literally when we opened the taxi door, our experience of being a valued guest was apparent. Our luggage was removed from the taxi while we were escorted inside to the concierge, who was waiting for us. Our concierge (Humberto) greeted us genuinely, as if we were guests who had been coming there for years. His English was flawless, which was a gift, because my Spanish was quite rusty. Humberto covered every detail of our stay, making sure that every question we had was answered. Our room was FANTASTIC! The view, the decor, everything about the room was great! And noise.. there was none! The primary restaurant - the Caribiana (I may have mis-spelled it) was phenomenal as well! The staff was the best restaurant staff I have encountered anywhere - hotels, or otherwise. Their English was good as well. And just as our experience with the concierge, we were treated genuinely as valued, and very welcomed guests. This hotel also has the best beach of any of the hotels in the area - and certainly the widest. The beach areas were clean, and in the leisure area of the beach were individual thatched cabanas - each with two lounge chairs for relaxing, or sunbathing. This area was also well-attended by non-intrusive staff ready to take your order for food, or beverage at any time. This experience was beyond our expectations, and because of it we will return again, and again. This hotel, literally, was instrumental in my wife and I crafting magical, and forever- lasting memories. [Less]
Great view and food
By Briian
Overall stay was great even though we had trouble getting a the room we reserved nearly a year in advance. The view on the ocean side is spectacular and the food was great. We were a little taken [More] back by the maid seeing us enter the room then slid a tip envelope under the door while there were huge dust bunnies floating around under the table near the bed. The rest of the room looked clean. [Less]

Awesome hotel right on the Hotel strip!
By TaskerP
Traveling this past Holiday season we took the kids to Cancun! We really wanted to explore as much as possible so we rented a car from a very reasonable place (eazyrent) which is located a mere 5 [More] minutes from the airport they pick you up right at the airport get you in a car and will also drop you off at the airport when returning home, we saved a bundle on transportation costs and got to know the island quite well! We started off in Playa Del Carmen staying at the maya Bric which is right on the famous 5the ave had a blast hotel was clean beds were a bit stiff but all in all an ok stay rates were very reasonable, after 4 days in Playa we were off to stay at the Holiday Inn Cancun for the remaining 6 days were we had an awesome time, from the great food and world class service, the kids didn't like the main courses served in the eating area so they visited the snack shack which was located in the next building over where they served burgers and fries, nachos all the stuff kids like! We also enjoyed the interactive entertainment throughout our stay which consisted of karaoke, aquasize in one of their pools, bingo night and of course the bikini contests! As a family of four this was an excellent stay and very reasonably priced for an all inclusive the beaches were kept very clean, always a lounge chair to use and not bothered by pushy sales people we saw one fella in the whole 6 days so that was nice! The rooms are large, which we really liked very clean and the beds are very comfortable only thing is the beds were a little on the small side! We were able to relax and enjoy all of the beautiful places and activities around Cancun, definitely one of my most favourite trips!!! Thank you so much Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas I would recommend families to your resort as they will feel welcome and very well taken taken of! [Less]
