Malmstrom Air Force Base is one of three U.S. Air Force Bases that maintains and operates ballistic missiles. The base has a rich history dating back to 1939. Great Falls area businesses are proud to be in alliance with Malmstrom, and we support our military to the fullest!

Great Falls is home to The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, a non profit center commemorating the portage of Lewis and Clark. You’ll want to take your time walking through this 25,000 square foot building. The Interpretive Center offers a 125 seated theater, exhibit hall, Portage Cache and five different walking trails adjacent to the building.

Experience a day in the old west while touring the C.M. Russell Museum. Charles Russell captured western art it’s best with pieces from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Enjoy a number of exhibit rooms or browse around in the Museum Shop offering one of a kind, Montana made items.

The River’s Edge Trail spans an approximate 45 mile distance and is the perfect beautiful escape! The trail is free and open to non-motorized public recreation during daylight hours. Points of interest along the way include Black Eagle Falls, Rainbow Falls, Crooked Falls and the Great Falls of the Missouri.
