WORST EXPERIENCE IN A HOLIDAY INN

This stay at Holiday Inn Krakow, was by far, my worst experience in any Holiday Inn property across the world. I do not blame the Hotel for this, but one particular staff member went out of his / her way to pass some really insulting remarks on me when I went to have my first breakfast in the hotel restaurant. This was highlighted to the hotel management by the staff with a completely untrue report which I later clarified. The management was apologetic but the damage had already been done. I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights but DID NOT return to the hotel for breakfast even once.

I will make it a point to instruct my company lodging desk to avoid this hotel going forward. In as far as I am concerned, it was disgraceful and I will NEVER EVER stay in this property when I return to Krakow.

For the record, all people in HolidayInn Krakow up to the top management are aware of the incident.

Dear Mr adeeb_a, As you mentioned the management of the hotel was aware of the incident and our team members starting from Supervisors to Food & Beverage Manager talked to you and apologized as well as I have passed my apologies to you via your fiancée. We all agree the staff members should never make remarks to their colleagues about guests or their behaviour regardless of the situation. The hotel guest should always be treated with the respect and made feel like home. We strive to achieve this every day and we are very sorry we failed in this respect during your visit to our restaurant. We took necessary actions towards the employee who understands the consequences of her action and is very sorry for her behaviour. We understand your feelings and how the incident influenced your perception of our hotel. We do not understand your vindictive approach to Holiday Inn Krakow which is contradictive with your own statement that you do not blame the hotel for this experience but one staff member. Nice hotel in Central location!

The best part of the hotel is its location. Krakow old town and the main square are in less than 5 minute walk. The rooms are nice with new furniture (We were upgraded to executive room).
I didn't expect such a nice hotel with Holiday Inn brand - I wouldn't give it quite 5* stars 4* definitely

Excellent Hotel and Staff

The hotel is in an ideal location close to the old town and all amenities.
The breakfast buffet was amazing, so much choice and alternatives were offered to be cooked fresh.
The room was clean, a good size with twin beds which were very comfortable.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay at another Holiday Inn and if returning to Krakow would definitely stay here again.

Polish hospitality at it's very best. Very service minded and sweet staff. Restaurant personnel are very friendly and nice.

My only negative remark is the lack of fresh air from outside in the guest rooms: my windows were roof windows and not to be opened, nor could I see the sky - just a screen. I prefer to see the outside

The staff at Krakow Holiday Inn were really welcoming and helpful. They were considerate to my needs and kindly showed me to my room and carried my case. The staff all spoke excellent English which I appreciated.
The room was very comfortable and clean and I had an excellent nights sleep. The hotel is in a convienient location to explore Krakow by foot.
